조합장 비리로 중단됐던 청주 오송역세권 도시개발사업이 2년 만에 재개됐다.
청주오송역세권지구 도시개발사업조합(조합장 한성희)은 지난 7일 청주시 흥덕구 오송읍 궁평리 사업부지에서 기공식을 가졌다. 기반공사 시공사는 금강종합건설이다.
사업은 70만6천㎡ 부지에 공동주택 2천여 가구와 상업·유통시설을 조성하는 프로젝트다. 2019년 착공해 공정률 30%까지 진행됐지만 2023년 조합 비리로 중단됐다. 조합은 지난해 11월 새 집행부를 구성하고 사업을 정상화했다. 2027년 조합 청산을 목표로 한다.

The Cheongju Osong Station Area Urban Development Project Association (Head Han Seong-hee) held a groundbreaking ceremony on the 7th at the project site in Gungpyeong-ri, Osong-eup, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju City. The infrastructure construction contractor is Geumgang Construction.
The project will create approximately 2,000 apartment units and commercial and distribution facilities on a 706,000㎡ site. It broke ground in 2019 and progressed to 30% completion but was halted in 2023 due to union corruption. The union formed a new executive body in November last year and normalized the project. It aims to dissolve in 2027.
