◆ 제35회 대회 개최
충주시지체장애인총연합회는 7일 호텔더베이스에서 제35회 지체장애인 재활증진대회를 개최했다. 지체장애인 회원 400여 명과 자원봉사자들이 참석했다. 대회는 유공자 표창과 후원금 전달, 어울림한마당 등 프로그램으로 진행됐다.
◆ 후원금 전달과 격려
충주시장애인후원회와 충주시옥외광고물협회는 지체장애인 복지증진 후원금을 전달했다. 엄창수 회장은 "재활과 자립을 위해 노력한 회원들이 오늘의 주인공"이라며 "장애인 스스로 권익을 높여나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
◆ 충주시 정책 지속 추진
김진석 충주부시장은 "희망을 잃지 않고 이웃에게 감동을 준 지체장애인과 봉사자들에게 감사드린다"며 "충주시는 장애인이 차별 없이 살아갈 수 있도록 재활과 사회참여 정책을 지속하겠다"고 말했다. 충주시지체장애인총연합회는 매년 재활증진대회를 통해 장애인 사회참여 확대를 추진하고 있다.

The Chungju City Federation of Physically Disabled promotes expanded social participation for disabled people through annual rehabilitation promotion events.
