충북 제천시의 공공배달앱 '배달모아' 매출이 급상승했다. 6일 제천시에 따르면 배달모아의 지난달 주문 건수는 전월(9월)보다 308% 증가한 1만9216건을 기록했다. 배달모아 서비스 개시 이후 가장 많은 것으로 같은 기간 매출액 역시 4억7000만원을 찍었다. 배달모아를 론칭한 2021년 이후 누적 매출액 100억원도 달성했다.
◆ 배달비 무료 지원·할인 이벤트로 이용 급증
시는 지난 6월부터 소비 쿠폰 등 다양한 할인 이벤트를 전개하는 등 배달모아 활성화에 두 팔을 걷어붙였다. 특히 10월부터는 배달비 무료 서비스를 제공하는 가맹점에 배달비를 지원하고 있다. 무료 배달 입소문이 번지면서 이용이 급증한 것으로 풀이된다. 시는 이달에도 3000원 할인 쿠폰 1만장을 선착순 제공하고 있다. 1만5000원 이상 주문할 때 사용할 수 있는 이 할인쿠폰과 제천화폐 모아를 함께 쓰면 더 알뜰한 소비자가 될 수 있다.
◆ 시스템 고도화 작업 추진
시 관계자는 "배달모아 시스템 고도화 작업도 추진 중"이라며 "사용자와 가맹점주를 위한 편의 기능을 대폭 개선할 예정"이라고 말했다.

Sales of 'Baedalmo-a', the public delivery app of Jecheon City in Chungbuk, have surged. According to Jecheon City on the 6th, Baedalmo-a's orders last month recorded 19,216 cases, a 308% increase from the previous month (September). This is the highest since the Baedalmo-a service began, with sales during the same period also reaching 470 million won. Cumulative sales of 10 billion won have also been achieved since the launch of Baedalmo-a in 2021.
◆ Usage Surges with Free Delivery Support and Discount Events

In particular, since October, delivery fees have been supported for merchants providing free delivery services. The surge in usage is interpreted as word-of-mouth spread about free delivery. The city is also providing 10,000 3,000 won discount coupons on a first-come, first-served basis this month. Consumers can be more thrifty by using this discount coupon, which can be used when ordering 15,000 won or more, together with Jecheon currency Moa.
