◆ 중동 최대 석유가스 산업전서 동반성장관 운영
한국가스공사(사장 최연혜)는 11월 3일부터 6일까지 나흘간 아랍에미리트에서 열리는 '2025 아부다비 국제 석유가스 산업전(ADIPEC)'에 중소기업의 중동시장 진출을 지원하기 위한 '천연가스 산업 동반성장관'을 운영한다고 4일 밝혔다. 이번 행사는 전 세계 54개국에서 석유·가스 관련 2,250여 개 업체, 약 20만 명이 참가하는 중동 최대 규모의 컨퍼런스 및 전시회다.
◆ 중소기업 13곳 참여...공동 마케팅으로 수출 극대화
가스공사는 다국적 에너지 기업이 모인 국제 전시회에서 자사의 글로벌 브랜드 파워를 앞세운 공동 마케팅 활동을 적극 펼쳐 중소기업의 수출 성과를 극대화한다는 방침이다. 가스공사는 우수한 기술력을 가졌지만 인지도가 낮아 해외 판로 개척에 어려움을 겪는 중소기업에게 홍보 및 판촉 기회를 제공하고자 전용 홍보관을 꾸렸다. 올해 동반성장관에는 볼밸브, 가스계량기, 가스·불꽃 감지기와 같은 천연가스 핵심 기자재를 생산하는 ㈜동산밸브 등 총 13개 업체가 참여했다.
◆ 민·관·공 협업으로 상생협력 강화
가스공사는 그간 다양한 전시회에서 천연가스 산업 동반성장관을 운영하며 중소기업 해외 진출을 꾸준히 지원해 왔다. 특히 올해 가스공사 동반성장관은 중소벤처기업부 산하 대·중소기업·농어업협력재단이 함께 참여함으로써 민·관·공 협업으로 중소기업의 해외 동반 진출을 돕는 상생협력의 장이 될 전망이다. 가스공사는 이를 통해 해외 고객에 대한 중소기업 신뢰도 향상은 물론, 글로벌 시장 진입 장벽 극복에도 큰 힘을 실어줄 것으로 기대하고 있다. 가스공사 관계자는 "이 전시회는 국내 천연가스 업계의 우수 중소기업들이 전 세계 구매자를 한자리에서 만나 기술 역량을 뽐낼 수 있는 소중한 기회"라며 "앞으로도 가스공사는 국가 대표 에너지 공기업으로서 이와 같은 대·중소기업 동반성장 사업에 전방위적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 말했다.

◆ Operating Co-Growth Pavilion at Middle East's Largest Oil and Gas Exhibition
Korea Gas Corporation (CEO Choi Yeon-hye) announced on the 4th that it will operate the 'Natural Gas Industry Co-Growth Pavilion' to support SMEs' entry into the Middle East market at the '2025 Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC)' held in the United Arab Emirates for four days from November 3 to 6. This event is the Middle East's largest conference and exhibition with approximately 2,250 oil and gas-related companies from 54 countries worldwide and about 200,000 participants.
◆ 13 SMEs Participate...Maximizing Exports Through Joint Marketing
KOGAS plans to maximize SME export performance by actively conducting joint marketing activities leveraging its global brand power at this international exhibition where multinational energy companies gather. KOGAS established a dedicated promotional pavilion to provide promotion and sales opportunities to SMEs with excellent technology but low recognition who struggle with overseas market development. This year's co-growth pavilion includes a total of 13 companies, including Dongsan Valve Co., which produces core natural gas equipment such as ball valves, gas meters, and gas/flame detectors.
◆ Strengthening Win-Win Cooperation Through Public-Private-Government Collaboration
KOGAS has consistently supported SMEs' overseas expansion by operating natural gas industry co-growth pavilions at various exhibitions. In particular, this year's KOGAS co-growth pavilion is expected to become a platform for win-win cooperation helping SMEs' joint overseas expansion through public-private-government collaboration, with the participation of the Foundation for Cooperation Between Large, Medium and Small Enterprises and Farming and Fishing Villages under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. KOGAS expects this will not only improve SME credibility with overseas customers but also provide significant support in overcoming global market entry barriers. A KOGAS official stated, "This exhibition is a valuable opportunity for excellent SMEs in Korea's natural gas industry to meet global buyers in one place and showcase their technical capabilities," adding "Going forward, KOGAS will spare no comprehensive support for such large-medium-small enterprise co-growth projects as the nation's representative energy public corporation."
