고(故) 백성문 변호사
서울아산병원 장례식장은 2일 오전 고(故) 백성문 변호사의 발인식을 엄수한다. 고인은 발인 후 용인 아너스톤 장지로 이동해 안장된다. 백성문 변호사는 지난달 31일 새벽 분당서울대병원에서 사망했다. 향년 52세다. 고인은 암 투병 중이었다.
고인은 경기고등학교와 고려대학교 법과대학을 졸업했다. 2007년 제49회 사법시험 합격으로 변호사 자격을 취득했다. 백성문 변호사는 '백성문의 오천만의 변호인', '사건파일 24시', '심층이슈 더팩트', '사건반장' 등 다수 방송 프로그램에 출연했다. 2019년 11월 김선영 YTN 아나운서와 결혼했다.
고인은 2023년 암 발병 이후 방송 활동을 줄이고 치료에 집중했다. 유튜브 '정치왓수다'와 '걱정 말아요 서울'에는 올해 2월까지 출연했다. 고인은 지난 7월 자신의 인스타그램에 52번째 생일 사진을 게시하며 "이 생일을 맞이할 수 없다는 두려움마저 있었던 힘든 투병 과정이었어도 잘 버티고 있습니다"라고 밝혔다. 이어 "여전히 불투명한 과정이지만 희망과 용기, 그리고 소중한 사람들의 염원과 기도로 이겨내야죠"라고 덧붙였다.
