옥천군은 옥천전통문화체험관의 숙박비 감면 제도가 11월 1일부터 변경된다고 밝혔다.
기존 선할인 결제 방식에서 지역카드인 향수OK카드를 통한 포인트 환급 방식으로 전환된다.
현재 체험관은 한옥을 이용하는 군민과 관외자를 대상으로 예약 시 숙박비의 30~40%를 선할인해주고 있다. 관외자는 옥천군 디지털관광주민증 소지자, 2인 이상 다자녀 가정 등이 해당한다.
11월 1일부터는 이용자가 숙박비 전액을 결제한 뒤, 입실 시 숙박비의 30~40%에 해당하는 금액이 충전된 향수OK카드를 제공받는다.
환급된 금액은 정책발행금 성격의 포인트로, 기존 향수OK캐시백 제도는 중복 적용되지 않는다.
발급된 카드는 12개월 이내 관내 가맹점에서 사용해야 한다.
군은 이번 제도 변경을 통해 체험객의 소비 의욕을 높이고 지역 내 소비 선순환 구조를 강화할 계획이다.
최영찬 문화관광과장은 "옥천전통문화체험관의 한옥숙박 이용료 환급 방식 전환을 통해 전통문화 체험 및 향유를 넘어 옥천의 다양한 먹거리와 지역 특산품 등에 대한 연계 소비를 통한 체류 지출이 확대될 것으로 기대한다"고 말했다.

Okcheon County announced that the accommodation fee discount system at Okcheon Traditional Culture Center will change from November 1.
The existing upfront discount payment method will be converted to a point refund method through the local card, Hyangsu OK Card.
Currently, the center provides an upfront discount of 30-40% of accommodation fees upon reservation for county residents and non-residents using hanok. Non-residents include holders of Okcheon County Digital Tourism Resident Certificate and families with two or more children.
From November 1, users will pay the full accommodation fee and receive a Hyangsu OK Card charged with 30-40% of the accommodation fee upon check-in.
The refunded amount is a policy-issued point, and the existing Hyangsu OK Cashback system does not apply in duplicate.
The issued card must be used at affiliated stores within the county within 12 months.
The county plans to increase the consumption desire of visitors and strengthen the virtuous cycle structure of local consumption through this system change.
Choi Young-chan, Director of Culture and Tourism Division, said, "Through the conversion of the accommodation fee refund method at Okcheon Traditional Culture Center, we expect that spending during stays will expand through linked consumption of various foods and local specialties in Okcheon beyond traditional culture experiences."
