◆전국 수도사업 부문 우수등급 획득

충북 영동군은 2025지방공기업 경영평가에서 우수등급 인센티브 11억2000만원을 확보했다고 28일 밝혔다. 군 관계자는 "전국 시·군·구 수도사업 부문에서 영동군은 안정적인 경영시스템과 우수한 수도행정 성과를 인정받았다"고 말했다.

◆상수도 현대화사업에 국비 39억원 투입

군은 올해부터 2030년까지 6년간 196억원(국비 98억원, 도비 24.5억원, 군비 73.5억원)을 들여 낡은 상수도를 정비하는 지방상수도 현대화사업(2차)을 추진 중이다. 2026년도(2차 사업연도) 사업비 중 국비는 27.8억원였는데, 이번에 11억2000만원을 추가 확보함으로써 39억원으로 늘어났다.

◆3.9 Billion Won in State Funds Allocated for Water Supply Modernization Project

The county is currently pursuing the Local Water Supply Modernization Project (Phase 2) to renovate aging water supply facilities with 19.6 billion won (9.8 billion won in state funds, 2.45 billion won in provincial funds, 7.35 billion won in county funds) over six years from this year to 2030. The state funds for the 2026 fiscal year (Phase 2 project year) were 2.78 billion won, but with the additional 1.12 billion won secured this time, they increased to 3.9 billion won.
