◆28일 준공식, 200여명 참석

충북 진천군은 28일 진천읍 교성리 일원에서 '진천 2호 근린공원 준공식'을 열었다. 송기섭 진천군수와 기관 관계자, 주민 등 200여명이 준공식에 참석했다. 진천군은 2022년 7월부터 공사를 시작해 158억원의 사업비를 투입했다. 공원 면적은 6만2496㎡ 규모다.

◆다양한 편의시설 갖춰

공원에는 맨발황톳길, 어린이 놀이터 3개소, 생활체육시설, 바닥분수, 장미원, 수국원, 피크닉장을 조성했다. 송기섭 군수는 "가족 단위 방문객을 포함해 모든 연령대가 즐길 수 있는 공간이 마련됐다"며 "군민 모두의 행복도를 높이는 장소가 되길 기대한다"고 밝혔다.

Chungbuk Jincheon-gun held the 'Jincheon No. 2 Neighborhood Park Completion Ceremony' on the 28th in the Gyoseong-ri area of Jincheon-eup. County Mayor Song Ki-seop, institutional officials, and approximately 200 residents attended the ceremony. Jincheon-gun started construction in July 2022 and invested 15.8 billion won in the project. The park covers an area of 62,496㎡.

The park includes barefoot red clay trails, three children's playgrounds, sports facilities, floor fountains, rose gardens, hydrangea gardens, and picnic areas. County Mayor Song Ki-seop stated, "We have created a space that all ages, including family visitors, can enjoy," and added, "I expect this to become a place that increases the happiness of all county residents."
