충북 진천군은 (사)대한한돈협회 진천군지부(지부장 김병민)가 돈육 300kg(500만원 상당)을 기탁했다고 23일 밝혔다.

군에 따르면 이번 기탁은 올해 4월에 이어 두 번째다.

(사)대한한돈협회 진천군지부는 매년 관내 취약계층과 복지시설을 위해 나눔 활동을 실시하고 있다.

김병민 지부장은 "지역사회와 함께 성장하는 것이 우리 한돈 농가의 사명"이라며 "앞으로도 군민과 함께 상생의 마음으로 나눔활동을 지속하겠다"고 말했다.

기탁된 돈육은 충북사회복지공동모금회를 통해 관내 사회복지시설과 취약계층에 전달될 예정이다.

Jincheon-gun, North Chungcheong Province announced on the 23rd that the Jincheon branch of the Korean Pork Association (Branch Director Kim Byung-min) donated 300kg of pork (worth 5 million won).

According to the county, this donation is the second one this year following the one in April.

The Jincheon branch of the Korean Pork Association conducts sharing activities every year for vulnerable groups and welfare facilities in the county.

Branch Director Kim Byung-min said, "Growing together with the local community is the mission of our Korean pork farms," adding, "We will continue sharing activities with a spirit of coexistence with county residents."

The donated pork will be delivered to social welfare facilities and vulnerable groups in the county through the Chungbuk Community Chest of Korea.
