충청북도가 도민 생활안정과 지역경제 발전을 위한 조례 17건을 다음 달부터 본격 시행한다. 21일 도의회 제429회 임시회 본회의에서 의결된 이번 조례는 제정 4건, 개정 13건으로 구성됐다.
특히 취약계층 건강 보호를 위한 '대상포진 예방접종 지원 조례'는 도내 1년 이상 거주한 65세 이상 의료취약계층을 대상으로 접종 비용을 지원한다. '다자녀가정 지원 조례' 개정을 통해서는 초다자녀 기준을 기존 셋째아에서 넷째아 이상 가정으로 확대해 더 많은 가정이 혜택을 받을 수 있게 됐다.
여성기업의 창업부터 성장까지 단계별 지원을 강화하는 '여성기업 지원 조례'도 시행된다. 또한 미래 기술 정책의 기반을 마련하는 '인공지능 기본 조례'를 새롭게 제정해 AI 관련 정책의 건전한 발전과 신뢰 기반 조성에 필요한 사항을 규정했다.
'헌혈장려 조례'에는 헌혈자 예우와 지원 조항을 신설했으며, '다목적 방사광가속기 지원 조례'를 개정해 오창 방사광가속기 구축·운영·활용을 효율적으로 지원할 수 있는 근거를 마련했다.
이방무 충북도 기획조정실장은 "이번 제·개정 조례가 도민생활 안정과 지역경제 회복에 기여할 것"이라며 "특히 취약계층과 다자녀 가정에 실질적 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다"고 밝혔다.

Chungbuk Province to Implement 17 New Ordinances Supporting Vulnerable Groups and Multi-Child Families in November Expanded shingles vaccination coverage and multi-child benefits... Foundation laid for future technology support including AI
Chungcheongbuk-do Province announced it will implement 17 ordinances next month aimed at stabilizing residents' lives and developing the regional economy. The ordinances, comprising four new enactments and 13 amendments, were passed at the plenary session of the 429th extraordinary Provincial Council meeting on the 21st.
Notable among them is the 'Shingles Vaccination Support Ordinance' for vulnerable groups, which provides vaccination costs for medically vulnerable residents aged 65 and older who have lived in the province for at least one year. The amended 'Multi-Child Family Support Ordinance' expands the definition of large families from three children to four or more children, enabling more families to receive benefits.
The 'Women's Business Support Ordinance' will be implemented to strengthen stage-by-stage support from startup to growth for women-owned enterprises. Additionally, the newly established 'Artificial Intelligence Basic Ordinance' regulates fundamental matters necessary for the sound development of AI-related policies and the establishment of a trust-based foundation.
The 'Blood Donation Promotion Ordinance' was amended to include provisions for honoring and supporting blood donors. The 'Multi-Purpose Synchrotron Accelerator Support Ordinance' was revised to efficiently support the construction, operation, and utilization of the Ochang synchrotron accelerator.
Lee Bang-mu, Director of Planning and Coordination at Chungbuk Province, stated, "These newly enacted and amended ordinances will contribute to stabilizing residents' lives and recovering the regional economy, and we particularly expect them to provide substantial help to vulnerable groups and multi-child families."
