공주시, ‘제52회 LA한인축제’ 참가 사진 /공주시
공주시는 미국 로스앤젤레스 서울국제공원에서 열린 '제52회 LA한인축제'에 참가해 9만2000달러(약 1억3000만원) 규모의 수출 성과를 거뒀다고 22일 밝혔다.
'경계선을 넘어서(Beyond Boundaries)'를 주제로 열린 이번 축제에는 공주시에서 4개 업체가 참여했다.
시는 공주팜, 식약동원, 하늘빛, 효원장 등으로 구성된 해외시장개척단을 파견했다. 개척단은 밤약과, 한과, 뱅어·청태포 양념구이, 유기농 두유, 야채스프, 알밤청국장, 청국장환 등 21개 품목을 선보였다.
참가 업체들은 모든 제품을 완판했다. 현지 바이어와 상담을 진행하며 공주시 농산물 통합브랜드 '고맛나루'를 홍보했다.
시는 이번 축제에 참가한 업체와 현지 유통업체와의 협력을 강화해 지속적인 수출 확대를 추진할 계획이다.
최원철 공주시장은 "시는 지역 내 중소기업과 소상공인의 해외시장 판로 개척을 위해 꾸준히 지원하고 있다"며 "전 세계를 무대로 공주의 우수한 농식품을 널리 알릴 수 있도록 다각적인 해외 마케팅 전략을 펼치겠다"고 밝혔다.

4 Companies Sell Out 21 Products... Consultations with Local Buyers Conducted
Gongju City announced on the 22nd that it participated in the '52nd LA Korean Festival' held at Seoul International Park in Los Angeles, USA, and achieved export sales of $92,000 (approximately 130 million won).
Four companies from Gongju City participated in the festival held under the theme 'Beyond Boundaries.'
The city dispatched an overseas market development team consisting of Gongju Farm, Sikyak Dongwon, Haneulbit, and Hyowon Jang. The team presented 21 products including chestnut yak-gwa, Korean traditional confectionery, seasoned grilled icefish and dried pollock, organic soy milk, vegetable soup, chestnut cheonggukjang, and cheonggukjang pills.
Participating companies sold out all products. They conducted consultations with local buyers and promoted 'Gomatnaru,' Gongju City's integrated agricultural brand.
The city plans to strengthen cooperation with companies that participated in the festival and local distributors to continuously expand exports.
Gongju Mayor Choi Won-chul stated, "The city consistently supports local small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners in pioneering overseas markets," and "We will implement diverse overseas marketing strategies to promote Gongju's excellent agricultural and food products on the global stage."
