2025 음성명작페스티벌 개막식에서 불꽃놀이가 펼쳐지고 있다.
충북 음성군이 지난 9월 25일부터 28일까지 금왕읍 금빛근린공원에서 개최한 '2025 음성명작페스티벌'에 25만여명이 방문했다. 음성군은 25일 이같은 집계 결과를 밝혔다.
이번 축제 방문객은 지난해 13만7700명 대비 78.6% 증가한 수치다. 음성청결고추축제·음성인삼축제·꽃잔치를 통합해 4회째 열린 이번 행사는 음성군 대표 농산물 축제로 완전히 자리잡았다.
개막일인 25일 저녁 7시 열린 개막식에서는 600대 드론을 활용한 3D 드론쇼가 펼쳐졌다. 전년도보다 2배 많은 규모다. 가수 채연과 코요테가 '백 투 더 90's' 콘셉트로 나이트 파티 무대를 선보였다.
27일에는 김연자·손빈아·나상도 등 가수 10여명이 출연하는 'CJB 전국 TOP 10 가요쇼'가 열렸다. 26일에는 환희·벤·조예은이, 폐막일인 28일에는 차지연과 울랄라세션이 무대에 올라 관객들의 호응을 받았다.
명작장터에서는 고추·인삼·화훼·과수·쌀 등 음성 농특산품을 농민이 직접 판매했다. 타임세일·시식행사·5000원 할인권 제공 등 다양한 판매촉진 이벤트를 진행한 결과, 준비된 농산물이 모두 판매됐다.
고추 소금빵·햇사레 복숭아 케이크·인삼 치즈 등 지역 농산물을 활용한 디저트존도 인기를 끌었다. 음성명작 전시관에서는 품평회 출품작을 전시해 음성 농산물의 우수성을 알렸다.
축제 마지막 날 열린 농산물품평회 시상식에서는 고추·인삼·과수·화훼 4개 부문 우수 농가를 선정했다. 최고상인 대상은 음성고추영농조합법인 남안우씨가 출품한 음성청결고추가 차지했다.
남씨의 음성청결고추는 알이 굵고 윤기가 흐르며, 고춧가루 가공 시 선명한 색과 깊은 맛을 자랑한다. 심사위원단은 "상품성과 품질을 모두 갖춘 대표 농산물"이라고 평가했다.
조병옥 음성군수는 "농업인의 정성이 더해져 음성명작페스티벌이 지역 대표 통합농산물 축제로 자리매김했다"며 "우수 농산물 판로 개척을 지원하고 지역 농업 경쟁력을 강화하겠다"고 밝혔다.

The '2025 Eumseong Myeongjak Festival' held by Eumseong County in North Chungcheong Province from September 25 to 28 at Geumbich Neighborhood Park in Geumwang-eup attracted approximately 250,000 visitors. The county announced these results on October 25.
The number of festival visitors increased by 78.6% compared to last year's 137,700. This fourth edition, which integrated the Eumseong Clean Pepper Festival, Ginseng Festival, and Flower Festival, has firmly established itself as the county's representative agricultural festival.
The opening ceremony on September 25 at 7 PM featured a 3D drone show using 600 drones, double the number from the previous year. Singers Chaeyeon and Coyote presented a night party stage with a 'Back to the 90s' concept.
On the 27th, the 'CJB National TOP 10 Music Show' was held featuring approximately 10 singers including Kim Yeon-ja, Son Bin-a, and Na Sang-do. On the 26th, Hwanhee, Ben, and Jo Ye-eun performed, while on the closing day (28th), Cha Ji-yeon and Ulala Session took the stage to audience acclaim.
At the Myeongjak Market, farmers directly sold Eumseong agricultural specialties including peppers, ginseng, flowers, fruits, and rice. Various sales promotion events including time sales, tasting events, and 5,000 won discount coupons resulted in all prepared agricultural products being sold out.
The dessert zone featuring pepper salt bread, Haetsare peach cake, and ginseng cheese made from local agricultural products was also popular. The Eumseong Myeongjak Exhibition Hall displayed competition entries to promote the excellence of Eumseong agricultural products.
At the agricultural product competition awards ceremony held on the festival's final day, outstanding farms were selected in four categories: peppers, ginseng, fruits, and flowers. The grand prize went to Nam An-woo of the Eumseong Pepper Agricultural Cooperative for his Eumseong Clean Pepper.
Nam's Eumseong Clean Pepper features large grains with a glossy appearance and boasts bright color and deep flavor when processed into pepper powder. The judging panel evaluated it as "a representative agricultural product with both marketability and quality."
Eumseong County Governor Jo Byeong-ok stated, "With the dedication of farmers, the Eumseong Myeongjak Festival has established itself as a regional representative integrated agricultural festival," adding, "We will support market development for excellent agricultural products and strengthen the competitiveness of local agriculture."
