인천국제공항에서 캄보디아로 출국하려던 남성 2명이 추가로 경찰의 검문에 제지당한 것으로 확인됐다. 20일 인천공항경찰단에 따르면 전날과 지난 18일 인천공항 제1여객터미널 탑승 게이트 앞에서 각각 30대 A씨와 20대 B씨의 출국을 제지했고, 입건 전 조사(내사)에 착수했다.

◆ 출국 목적 제대로 답하지 못해...구체적 진술 거부

경찰은 당시 A씨 등에게 출국 목적 등을 물었으나 제대로 답을 하지 못한 것으로 파악됐다. 이들은 경찰에서 "지인을 만나러 간다"는 등 구체적인 진술을 거부한 것으로 알려졌다. 앞서 지난 15일과 16일에도 30대 남성과 20대 남성 등 2명이 출국 목적 등을 제대로 답하지 않아 출국하지 못했다. 이에 따라 경찰의 불심검문으로 출국 제지된 인원은 모두 4명으로 늘어났다.

◆ 경찰 "4건 모두 내사...범죄 혐의점 조사"

경찰 관계자는 "현재 4건 모두 내사에 착수해 범죄 혐의점 여부를 조사한 뒤 입건 여부를 결정할 방침"이라고 밝혔다.
