◆ 11월 13일부터 인천-화롄 신규 취항...주 2회 운항
청주국제공항 거점 항공사인 에어로케이항공(대표 강병호)은 11월 13일부터 인천–화롄(대만) 노선을 신규 취항한다고 밝혔다. 인천–화롄 노선은 주 2회(목·일) 운항된다. 인천에서 오전 11시 50분 출발, 화롄 도착 13시 20분, 화롄 출발 14시 20분, 인천 도착 17시 40분 일정으로 운항된다. 이번 신규 취항으로 대만 동부 지역을 잇는 노선이 확대되며 충청권뿐 아니라 수도권 여행객들도 보다 편리하게 화롄을 방문할 수 있게 됐다. 화롄은 타이루거 협곡과 칠성담 해변 등 천혜 자연경관으로 유명한 대만 대표 관광지다.
◆ 청주-타이베이 매일 2회 증편...청주 거점 강화
에어로케이는 청주–타이베이 노선 운항 3년차에 접어들며 11월부터 운항을 '매일 2회'로 증편하는 등 청주 거점을 지속적으로 강화하고 있다. 이러한 안정적 성장 기반 위에서 인천–화롄 노선을 추가로 운영함으로써 청주를 중심으로 한 대만 노선 운항 체계가 더욱 공고해질 전망이다. 에어로케이 관계자는 "인천 취항은 청주 거점을 강화하기 위한 보완축으로, 수도권 수요를 흡수해 노선의 안정성과 지속성을 높이는 전략적 조치"라며 "충청권 기반 항공사로서 지역 균형 발전과 국제 노선 다변화를 함께 추진하겠다"고 밝혔다.
