충북 단양군은 10월 22일부터 11월 18일까지 '2025년 인구주택총조사'를 실시한다고 밝혔다. 이번 조사는 국가데이터처가 주관하는 국가 단위 통계조사로, 5년마다 인구·가구·주택의 규모와 특성을 파악해 국가 주요 정책 수립의 기초자료로 활용된다. 단양군의 조사 대상은 표본 20%에 해당하는 4,312가구다.
◆ 인터넷·전화 조사 후 방문 면접...참여번호로 손쉽게 참여
선정된 표본가구에는 국가데이터처에서 우편으로 조사 참여 안내문을 발송한다. 가구별로 부여된 고유 참여번호를 통해 10월 22일부터 31일까지 인터넷 또는 전화로 조사 참여가 가능하다. 인터넷 또는 전화조사에 참여하지 않은 가구는 11월 1일부터 18일까지 조사원이 태블릿PC를 활용해 직접 방문 면접조사를 진행한다.
◆ 지역 발전 기초자료...16일 홍보 캠페인 전개
군 관계자는 "정확한 통계는 지역 발전의 밑그림을 그리는 데 꼭 필요한 기초자료"라며 "조사대상으로 선정된 군민들께서는 인터넷이나 전화조사에 적극 참여해주시고, 조사원이 방문할 경우에도 협조를 부탁드린다"고 당부했다. 군은 지난 16일 단양구경시장에서 '2025 인구주택총조사' 홍보 캠페인을 전개하며 주민들에게 조사 취지와 참여 방법을 안내했다.
