◆ 15~17일 서울서 수학여행
충청북도 영동군 양강초등학교(교장 박주희)는 15일부터 17일까지 2박 3일간 4~6학년 학생 9명을 대상으로 서울 지역에서 수학여행을 실시했다. 도시문화 및 역사체험 중심으로 진행했다.
수학여행은 농산촌 지역 학생들에게 대도시의 다양한 문화를 직접 체험할 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련했다.
◆ 국립중앙박물관·경복궁·수원 화성 방문
학생들은 국립중앙박물관, 경복궁, 수원 화성 등 주요 역사유적지를 탐방했다. 우리나라의 역사와 문화유산을 체험하는 시간을 가졌다.
학생들은 롯데월드, 남산타워, 하이커그라운드 등도 방문했다. 현대 도시문화 및 K-POP, K-미디어의 현장을 함께 체험했다.
◆ "넓은 세상 배우는 기회"
박주희 교장은 "이번 수학여행을 통해 학생들이 교실을 벗어나 실제 사회와 역사 현장을 직접 체험하면서 넓은 세상을 배우고, 서로 협력하며 성장하는 기회가 되었길 바란다"고 말했다.
◆ 학교 자체 예산으로 무료 제공
양강초등학교는 수학여행을 비롯한 다양한 체험학습을 학교 자체 예산을 활용하여 학생들에게 무료로 제공한다. 산촌 지역 학생들이 다양한 사회적·문화적 경험을 할 수 있도록 적극 지원하고 있다.
