충청북도는 10월 13일부터 24일까지 2주간 도내 공중위생업소(미용업)를 대상으로 무신고·무면허 영업행위와 위생관리 의무 준수 여부를 점검한다고 밝혔다.
최근 미용에 대한 관심과 수요 증가로 SNS 등에서 불법행위 광고가 늘어남에 따라, 도는 미용업소의 법규 준수 여부를 집중적으로 확인할 계획이다.
주요 단속 내용은 ▲영업신고, 변경신고, 영업자 지위승계 신고 여부 ▲무면허 영업 및 면허증 대여 여부 ▲의약품·의료기기 사용 여부 ▲미용기구 소독 및 위생 관리 여부 등이다.
충북도는 시정 가능한 경미한 위반 사항은 현장에서 계도할 계획이며, 중대한 위법행위는 형사 입건 후 검찰 송치하고, 관할 시군에 행정처분을 의뢰할 예정이다. 적발된 업소는 위반 행위 경중에 따라 최대 1년 이하 징역 또는 1천만 원 이하 벌금에 처해질 수 있다.
신용찬 충북도 사회재난과장은 “공중위생업소는 도민 건강과 직결된 업종으로, 위생적이고 안전한 영업환경 조성이 중요하다”며 “업소 종사자들이 스스로 위생 관리를 철저히 하고 법규를 준수해 건전한 영업 질서 확립에 적극 동참해 달라”고 당부했다.

Amid rising interest and demand for beauty services, illegal advertisements have increased on social media. The province plans to focus on verifying whether beauty salons comply with relevant laws.
Key inspection items include ▲ registration of business, changes in registration, and transfer of business status ▲ unlicensed operations and lending of licenses ▲ use of pharmaceuticals or medical devices ▲ disinfection and hygiene management of beauty tools.
For minor violations that can be corrected, the province will provide guidance on site. For serious illegal acts, cases will be referred to the prosecution for criminal investigation, and administrative action will be requested from the relevant municipalities. Violating businesses may face up to one year in prison or fines up to 10 million won, depending on the severity of the offense.

We ask salon workers to strictly manage hygiene and comply with laws to establish proper business practices.”
