◆ 평생교육원 첫 기획전시 3월 31일까지 진행

세종특별자치시교육청평생교육원(원장 송정순)이 2026년 1월 2일부터 3월 31일까지 평생교육원 1층 시청각실 앞 로비에서 기획전시 '빛나는 꿈, 이어지는 시간'을 개최한다. 이번 전시는 평생교육원이 시민에게 선보이는 첫 번째 기획전시다. 평생교육원은 학습과 예술이 공존하는 문화공간으로서의 정체성을 시민과 공유하고자 이번 전시를 마련했다. 전시명 '빛나는 꿈, 이어지는 시간'은 세종시민의 삶과 배움, 서로의 시간을 이어주는 공간으로서 평생교육원의 의미를 예술적으로 표현했다.

◆ 현대미술 작가 3인, 33점 작품 선보여

이번 전시에는 현대미술 작가 3인(석동미, 동자동휘, 박스피넛)이 참여해 설치미술, 회화, 미디어아트 등 총 33점을 선보인다. 석동미 작가는 '꿈의 장면 안으로 걸어 들어가는 경험'을 주제로 설치 작품을 출품했다. 관람객은 이 작품을 통해 과거의 추억과 미래의 꿈을 동시에 마주할 수 있다. 동자동휘 작가는 새를 영감으로 한 따뜻한 색감의 평면 작품과 영상을 통해 배움이 주는 회복과 성장의 메시지를 전달한다. 박스피넛 작가는 일상의 기억과 현대인의 자화상을 상자 형태의 미디어아트로 풀어냈다.

◆ 작가별 대화·체험 프로그램 무료 운영

평생교육원은 관람객이 작가와 직접 소통할 수 있도록 부대 프로그램을 운영한다. 1월부터 3월까지 매달 1회씩 '작가와의 대화'와 '전시 연계 체험 프로그램'을 진행한다. 프로그램 일정은 1월 26일 동자동휘 작가, 2월 25일 석동미 작가, 3월 6일 박스피넛 작가 순이다. 평생교육원 누리집(https://life.sje.go.kr)에서 사전 예약 후 무료로 참여할 수 있다. 전시도 별도 관람료 없이 누구나 자유롭게 관람할 수 있다. 송정순 원장은 "이번 기획전시는 평생교육원이 배움뿐 아니라 예술을 통해 시민의 삶을 풍요롭게 만드는 복합문화공간으로 나아가는 첫걸음"이라며 "시민들이 전시 작품을 감상하며 자신만의 빛나는 꿈을 다시 한번 떠올리는 시간이 되길 바란다"고 말했다.

This is the first exhibition the Lifelong Learning Center presents to citizens. The center organized this exhibition to share its identity as a cultural space where learning and art coexist. The exhibition title 'Shining Dreams, Connected Time' artistically expresses the meaning of the Lifelong Learning Center as a space connecting the lives, learning, and time of Sejong citizens.

◆ Three Contemporary Artists Present 33 Works

Three contemporary artists (Seok Dong-mi, Dongja Donghwi, and Box Peanut) participate in this exhibition, presenting a total of 33 works including installation art, paintings, and media art. Artist Seok Dong-mi submitted installation works under the theme of 'the experience of walking into a dream scene.' Visitors can encounter past memories and future dreams simultaneously through this work. Artist Dongja Donghwi delivers messages of recovery and growth through learning via warm-toned flat works and videos inspired by birds. Artist Box Peanut expressed everyday memories and portraits of modern people through box-shaped media art.

◆ Free Artist Talk and Experience Programs Offered

The Lifelong Learning Center operates accompanying programs for visitors to communicate directly with artists. The center conducts 'Conversations with Artists' and 'Exhibition-linked Experience Programs' once a month from January to March. The program schedule is: Dongja Donghwi on January 26, Seok Dong-mi on February 25, and Box Peanut on March 6. Visitors can participate for free after making reservations through the Lifelong Learning Center website (https://life.sje.go.kr). The exhibition is also free and open to all visitors. Director Song Jeong-soon said, "This exhibition is the first step for the Lifelong Learning Center to become a complex cultural space that enriches citizens' lives through art as well as learning," adding, "I hope citizens will take time to recall their own shining dreams while viewing the exhibition."
