천안시는 지난 8일 천안축구센터에서 ‘천안시 토목직 공무원 직 무교육’을 실시했다.

교육은 기술직 공무원의 전문성 강화와 실무 능력 향상을 위해 구성됐다. 주요 교육 내용은 인공지능(AI) 업무 활용법, 상하수도 개론, 토목설계 및 영향평가 실무 등이다. 교육 참석자들은 세종~안성 고속도로 6공구 건설 현장과 진천 농다리를 방문했다. 시대별 시공 사례를 비교 체험하는 시간을 가졌다.

◆ 행정 서비스 질 향상 목표

최광복 건설안전교통국장은 "실무에 직결되는 강의와 현장 체험을 통해 토목직 공무원들의 전문성을 높이고자 했다"고 말했다. 최 국장은 "지속적인 교육을 통해 행정 서비스의 질을 높여 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.

Choi Kwang-bok, Director of the Construction Safety and Transportation Bureau, stated, "We sought to enhance the expertise of civil engineering officials through lectures directly related to practical work and field experiences." Director Choi added, "We will continue to improve the quality of administrative services through ongoing education."
