논산시는 농촌발전기금을 활용해 대규모 딸기산업 스마트팜 단지를 조성한다. 청년농의 안정적인 영농 정착을 지원하고 첨단 농업 기반을 확충한다. 또한 저금리 융자 지원을 통해 농업인의 경영 부담을 완화하고 안정적인 경제 기반 조성을 돕는다.
논산시 관계자는 "농촌발전기금은 농업인의 삶의 질을 높이고 지속 가능한 농촌을 만드는 든든한 울타리"라며 "농가 소득을 증대시키고 농촌 경쟁력을 강화하는 실효성 있는 농업 정책을 추진하겠다"고 밝혔다.
