아산시의회(의장 홍성표)가 8일 아산시 온천동 일원에서 사랑의 연탄 배달 봉사활동을 실시했다. 이날 봉사활동에는 아산시의회 의원들과 의회사무국 직원 등 40여 명이 참여했다. 참가자들은 연탄 400장을 직접 전달하며 겨울철 난방에 어려움을 겪는 지역 내 취약계층을 지원했다.
이번 봉사활동은 매년 겨울철 추진되는 나눔 활동의 일환이다. 지역사회 이웃들의 생활 안정을 돕기 위해 마련됐다.
홍성표 의장은 "추운 날씨 속에서도 봉사활동에 참여해 준 의원들과 직원들에게 감사드린다"며 "아산시의회는 지역사회와 함께하는 나눔 활동을 지속적으로 이어가겠다"고 말했다.

Asan City Council (Chairman Hong Seong-pyo) conducted a charity briquette delivery volunteer activity in the Oncheon-dong area of Asan-si on January 8. About 40 participants including Asan City Council members and council secretariat staff joined the volunteer work. Participants directly delivered 400 briquettes to support vulnerable residents struggling with winter heating.
This volunteer activity is part of an annual winter sharing initiative. It was organized to help stabilize the lives of neighbors in the local community.
Chairman Hong Seong-pyo said, "I am grateful to the council members and staff who participated in the volunteer activity despite the cold weather." He added, "Asan City Council will continue sharing activities together with the local community."
