◆ 충령탑 참배로 새해 첫 공식 일정 시작

논산시의회(의장 조용훈)가 2일 오전 새해 첫 공식 일정으로 충령탑을 방문했다. 의원들은 순국선열과 호국영령의 희생을 추모하며 참배했다.

논산시의회는 참배 후 시의회 1층 회의실에서 새해 인사식을 개최했다. 조용훈 의장을 비롯한 의원들과 의회사무국 직원, 백성현 논산시장과 간부 공무원들이 참석했다. 행사는 국민의례, 신년 인사말, 소통의 시간, 케이크 컷팅 및 건배, 기념사진 촬영 순으로 진행됐다.

조용훈 의장은 "2026년은 붉은 말의 해 병오년이다"라며 "새해에는 병오년의 뜨거운 기운을 받아 시민 여러분 모두의 가정에 평안과 행복이 가득하시길 기원드린다"고 말했다. 조 의장은 "2026년에도 시의회와 집행부는 상호 상생과 협치를 바탕으로 함께 힘을 모아 오직 시민만을 바라보면서 시민 삶의 질 향상과 지역 경제 활성화를 위해 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.
