◆ 홍종숙 의원 대한민국지방의정봉사상 수상

증평군의회(의장 조윤성) 홍종숙 의원이 2일 대한민국시군자치구의회 의장협의회로부터 '대한민국지방의정봉사상'을 수상했다. 대한민국지방의정봉사상은 의정활동 헌신을 통해 기초의회 발전과 지방자치 활성화에 기여한 지방의회의원에게 수여하는 상이다. 지역사회 발전에 공헌한 공로를 엄정히 평가해 선정한다.

◆ 군민 건강 증진·지역사회 돌봄 문제 해결에 앞장

홍종숙 의원은 '군민의 삶 속에서 답을 찾고, 작은 목소리에도 귀 기울인다'는 의정철학을 바탕으로 활동해 왔다. 홍 의원은 산림치유와 같은 자연과 함께하는 군민 건강 증진에 힘썼다. 고령화에 따른 지역사회 돌봄, 사회적 고립 예방, 정신건강 안전망 구축 등의 문제에 관심을 갖고 해결 방안을 모색해 왔다.

Hong Jong-suk, a member of Jeungpyeong County Council, received the 'Korea Local Council Service Award' from the Korea Association of City, County and District Council Chairpersons on the 2nd.
