Councilor Kim has continued legislative activities reflecting field voices in the system by proposing and revising ordinances covering all aspects of citizens' lives including education, housing, culture, safety, and leisure. She was highly evaluated for her efforts in establishing institutional foundations for resolving daily inconveniences, improving public facility operations, and creating a safe and sustainable urban environment.
Councilor Kim stated, "I will continue to listen more carefully to citizens' voices and create policies that help citizens through field-centered legislative activities." The Korea Local Council Service Award is organized by the Association of Korean City, County, and District Council Chairpersons and is given to local council members who have contributed to local legislative development based on a strong sense of mission and spirit of service.
