◆ 신년 기자회견 개최
충남도의회가 5일 의회 대회의실에서 신년 기자회견을 열었다. 홍성현 의장은 이 자리에서 2024년 의정활동 성과와 2025년 운영 방향을 발표했다. 충남도의회는 올해 제12대 의회를 마무리하고 제13대 의회를 출범시킨다.
◆ 청렴도 평가 성과
충남도의회는 2025년 국민권익위원회 청렴도 평가에서 전국 시도의회 중 유일하게 '청렴체감도' 1등급을 받았다. '청렴노력도'는 전년 대비 1등급 상향된 2등급을 기록했다. 종합청렴도는 2등급을 달성했다.
지난해 충남도의회는 총 6회 118일간 회기를 운영했다. 충남도의회는 조례 262건을 제·개정했다. 충남도의회는 총 498건 안건을 처리하고 937건 처분을 요구했다. 충남도의회는 행정안전부 주관 2025년 지방의회 우수사례 경진대회에서 우수상을 수상했다.
◆ 2026년 운영 방향
충남도의회는 의원 공무국외활동 조례를 개정해 사전 심의 절차를 강화한다. 충남도의회는 갑질피해신고센터와 행동강령 자문위원회를 운영하며 부패 예방에 힘쓴다. 충남도의회는 AI 예결산 분석시스템을 안정적으로 운용해 재정 관리를 강화할 예정이다.
홍성현 의장은 "충남·대전 행정 통합이라는 큰 과제에 직면해 있다"며 "도민과 소통하며 신뢰받는 의회가 되도록 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Chungnam Provincial Council held a New Year press conference at the council conference room on January 5. Chairman Hong Seong-hyun announced the 2024 legislative achievements and 2025 operational direction at the event. ◆ Integrity Evaluation Results
Chungnam Provincial Council was the only provincial council nationwide to receive Grade 1 in "Integrity Perception" in the 2025 Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission integrity evaluation. "Integrity Effort" recorded Grade 2, rising one grade from the previous year. Overall integrity achieved Grade 2.
Chungnam Provincial Council operated a total of 6 sessions over 118 days last year. Chungnam Provincial Council enacted or revised 262 ordinances. Chungnam Provincial Council processed 498 agenda items and demanded 937 dispositions. Chungnam Provincial Council won an Excellence Award at the 2025 Local Council Best Practices Competition hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
◆ 2026 Operational Direction
Chungnam Provincial Council will revise the ordinance on council members' official overseas activities to strengthen prior review procedures. Chungnam Provincial Council will operate the Workplace Harassment Report Center and Code of Conduct Advisory Committee to prevent corruption. Chungnam Provincial Council plans to stably operate the AI budget and settlement analysis system to strengthen fiscal management.
Chairman Hong Seong-hyun said, "We face the major task of Chungnam-Daejeon administrative integration," adding, "We will do our best to become a trusted council that communicates with residents."
