◆ 화물차, 차단시설·통근버스 충돌

30일 오전 5시 57분께 충북 청주시 청원구 오창지하차도 진입로에서 17t 윙바디 화물차가 진입차단시설 기둥과 통근버스를 들이받았다. 이 사고로 40대 화물차 운전자가 다쳐 현장에서 병원으로 옮겨졌다. 통근버스 기사도 병원에서 치료받았다.

◆ 술병 쏟아지고 2개 차선 통제

사고 충격으로 화물차에 실려 있던 술병이 도로에 쏟아졌다. 차단시설이 쓰러지면서 청주 방면 지하차도 2개 차선이 모두 통제됐다.

◆ 7시간 만에 통행 재개

보은국토관리사무소는 사고 발생 7시간 만에 현장을 수습하고 통행을 재개했다. 경찰은 정확한 사고 경위를 조사 중이다.

◆ Cargo Truck Hits Barrier Facility and Commuter Bus

At around 5:57 a.m. on December 30, a 17-ton wing body cargo truck crashed into an entry barrier facility pillar and a commuter bus at the Ochang Underpass entrance in Cheongwon-gu, Cheongju-si, North Chungcheong Province. The cargo truck driver in his 40s was injured and transported to a hospital from the scene. The commuter bus driver also received treatment at a hospital.

◆ Liquor Bottles Spilled and 2 Lanes Blocked

The impact of the accident caused liquor bottles loaded on the cargo truck to spill onto the road. As the barrier facility collapsed, all 2 lanes of the underpass toward Cheongju were blocked.

◆ Traffic Resumed After 7 Hours

The Boeun National Land Management Office cleared the scene and resumed traffic 7 hours after the accident occurred. Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
