충북 영동군이 2026년도 본예산 규모를 5488억 원으로 확정했다고 30일 밝혔다. 일반회계 5100억 원, 특별회계 388억 원으로 편성했다. 총액은 2025년 본예산(5077억 원)보다 8.1%(411억 원) 늘었다.

예산에 반영한 주요 사업은 기초연금지급 538억 원, 지역특화 임대형 스마트팜단지 조성 145억 원, 노인일자리 지원 135억 원, 기본형 공익직접지불금 136억 원, 삼봉 풍수해생활권 종합정비사업 100억 원, 곤충생태 체험연구관건립사업 74억 원, 농촌공간정비사업(부용2지구) 71억 원, 전기차·수소차 보급 88억 원, 반야사 삼층석탑 문수전·탐방로 정비 13억 원 등이다.

Budget allocations by sector include social welfare 142.1 billion won, agriculture and forestry 112 billion won, environment 72 billion won, public order and safety 29.1 billion won, culture and tourism 28.9 billion won, transportation and logistics 14.6 billion won, and national land and regional development 12.2 billion won.

Major projects reflected in the budget include basic pension payments 53.8 billion won, regional specialized rental smart farm complex construction 14.5 billion won, senior job support 13.5 billion won, basic public direct payments 13.6 billion won, Sambong flood damage living area comprehensive maintenance project 10 billion won, insect ecology experience and research center construction 7.4 billion won, rural space maintenance project (Buyong 2 District) 7.1 billion won, electric and hydrogen vehicle distribution 8.8 billion won, and Banyasa Three-story Stone Pagoda Munsujon and trail maintenance 1.3 billion won.
