◆ 3대 추진 전략 수립
충남도가 29일 도청 중회의실에서 '2차 소재·부품·장비산업 육성 기본계획(2026～2028)' 수립 최종보고회를 개최했다. 전형식 정무부지사를 비롯한 도 관계 공무원, 소부장위원회 위원, 충남테크노파크 담당자 등 20명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다. 이번 회의는 최종 보고, 안건 심의 및 자문 순서로 구성됐다.
도는 2차 기본계획에 △소부장 기업 지원 체계 구축 △기술 실증 강화 및 산업 대전환 준비 △협력 정책 마련 등 3대 추진 전략을 담았다. 소부장 기업 지원 체계 구축은 성장 사다리 기업 지원, 소부장 특화 연구개발(R&D) 지원, 기업 자금 지원으로 이루어진다. 기술 실증 및 산업 대전환 준비는 인증·평가 및 실증 지원 시설 확대, 소부장 특화단지 추가 지정으로 진행된다.
◆ 산학관연 협력 강화
도는 산·학·관·연 상생협의체 구축 및 기술 이전 활성화를 통해 소부장 산업 성장을 뒷받침하는 협력 정책을 마련한다. 2차 기본계획을 기반으로 소부장 전문기업 매년 50개사 추가 지정 및 기업 고도화 지원을 추진할 계획이다.
전형식 정무부지사는 "충남 소부장 산업이 일자리 창출 및 지역 경제 활성화는 물론, 국가 산업 발전에 이바지할 수 있도록 지원에 힘쓸 것"이라며 "2차 기본계획을 내실 있게 추진하겠다"라고 밝혔다.
◆ 내년 1월 R&D 지원 사업 개시
도는 지난 3일 기술보증기금과 체결한 '소부장 기업 특화 연구개발(R&D) 지원 업무협약'을 토대로 내년 1월 19일부터 기업 공모를 시작한다. 도의 연구개발 수행 자금과 기술보증기금의 저금리 자금을 연계 지원하는 사업(BRIDGE-UP)이 그것이다.

◆ Three Major Implementation Strategies Established
The Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Government held a final report meeting on December 29 to establish the "Second Materials, Parts and Equipment Industry Development Basic Plan (2026-2028)" at the provincial government's conference room. The meeting was attended by approximately 20 participants including Vice Governor Jeon Hyung-sik, related provincial officials, members of the Materials, Parts and Equipment Industry Committee, and representatives from Chungnam Techno Park. The meeting proceeded with final reports, agenda reviews, and consultations.
The province incorporated three major implementation strategies into the second basic plan: establishing a materials, parts and equipment company support system; strengthening technology demonstration and preparing for industrial transformation; and developing cooperation policies. The company support system establishment comprises growth ladder company support, materials, parts and equipment specialized research and development (R&D) support, and corporate funding support. Technology demonstration and industrial transformation preparation will be conducted through expansion of certification, evaluation and demonstration support facilities, and additional designation of materials, parts and equipment specialized zones.
◆ Strengthening Industry-Academia-Government-Research Cooperation
The province will establish a mutually beneficial cooperation body comprising industry, academia, government and research institutions, and will activate technology transfer to support materials, parts and equipment industry growth. Based on the second basic plan, the province plans to additionally designate 50 materials, parts and equipment specialized companies annually and support corporate upgrading.
Vice Governor Jeon Hyung-sik stated, "We will make every effort to support the Chungcheongnam-do materials, parts and equipment industry so that it contributes to job creation and regional economic revitalization, as well as national industrial development," and added, "We will implement the second basic plan substantively."
◆ R&D Support Project Launches in January Next Year
Based on the "Materials, Parts and Equipment Company-Specialized Research and Development (R&D) Support Memorandum of Understanding" signed with the Korea Technology Finance Corporation on December 3, the province will begin accepting company applications starting January 19 next year. The BRIDGE-UP project links the province's research and development execution funds with low-interest funds from the Korea Technology Finance Corporation.
