충남교육청(교육감 김지철)은 2025년 초중고 전체 학생을 대상으로 입학준비금과 수학여행비를 지원했다.
입학준비금은 초중고 1학년 신입생 1인당 10만 원을 지급했다. 저소득층·다자녀 학생 등에는 10만 원을 추가로 지원해 최대 20만 원까지 받을 수 있었다.
수학여행비는 학급별로 차등 지원했다. 초등학생 16만 원, 중학생 20만 원, 고등학생 30만 원을 기본 지원했다. 저소득층·다자녀 학생 등에는 추가 지원을 통해 초등학생 최대 25만 6천 원, 중학생 32만 원, 고등학생 48만 원을 지급했다.
◆ 만족도 조사 결과
충남교육청은 2025년 12월 4일부터 14일까지 11일간 만족도 조사를 실시했다. 보호자 7,706명이 응답했다.
"입학준비금과 수학여행비 지원이 가정의 교육비 경감에 도움이 된다"라고 답한 비율은 87.94%로 전년도(86.3%) 대비 1.64%p 상승했다. "지속적인 지원이 필요하다"라고 응답한 비율은 96%로 전년도(95.05%) 대비 0.95%p 증가했다.
◆ 교육청의 향후 추진 방향
한복연 유아교육복지과 과장은 "만족도 조사 결과는 입학준비금과 수학여행비 지원이 학생들에게 실질적인 도움이 되었으며 제도 유지의 필요성이 높다는 점을 보여준다"라고 설명했다.
충남교육청은 앞으로도 보호자의 교육비 부담 경감을 위해 지속적인 교육복지 지원 사업을 추진할 계획이다.

◆ Overall Student Support Status

The admissions preparation fund provided 100,000 won per first-year student in elementary, middle, and high schools. Low-income families and multi-child students received an additional 100,000 won, allowing them to receive up to 200,000 won in total.
School trip support was allocated differently by grade level. Elementary students received 160,000 won, middle school students 200,000 won, and high school students 300,000 won as base support. Low-income and multi-child students received additional support ranging up to a maximum of 256,000 won for elementary students, 320,000 won for middle school students, and 480,000 won for high school students.
◆ Survey Results
The Chungnam Office of Education conducted a satisfaction survey from December 4-14, 2025, over an 11-day period. A total of 7,706 guardians responded.
The percentage of respondents who stated that "admissions preparation fund and school trip support help reduce household education expenses" was 87.94%, an increase of 1.64 percentage points compared to the previous year (86.3%). The percentage who responded that "continuous support is necessary" reached 96%, an increase of 0.95 percentage points compared to the previous year (95.05%).
◆ Education Office's Future Direction
Han Bok-yeon, Director of Early Childhood Education and Welfare, stated that "the satisfaction survey results demonstrate that admissions preparation funds and school trip support have provided practical benefits to students and show the necessity of maintaining the system."
The Chungnam Office of Education plans to continue implementing sustained education welfare support projects to reduce guardians' education expenses.
