◆ 연구용역 최종 결과 공개
서산시의회(의장 조동식) 산하 의원 연구모임 '서산시 해안권 체류형 관광 활성화 연구모임'(대표의원 안원기)이 29일 서산시의회 의원 대기실에서 '서산시 해안권 체류형 관광 활성화 연구용역' 최종보고회를 개최했다. 이날 보고회에는 연구모임 소속 의원 7명과 연구용역 수행 기관인 지방자치정책연구원 연구진이 참석했다. 지방자치정책연구원 공병욱 부장이 맡은 최종보고에서는 관광유형 분석을 바탕으로 체류형 관광 활성화 전략과 사업계획을 제시했다.
◆ 4대 핵심 프로젝트 도출
보고회에서 발표된 주요 사업화 계획은 △웅도 가티오슈 프로젝트 △유네스코 갯벌국립공원 세계유산센터 △1앵커 8링커 그룹 프로젝트 △굴포운하 복원 프로젝트 등 4개 분야다. 연구모임은 이번 연구 결과를 서산시 정책에 반영하기 위해 집행부에 정책 사업을 제안하고 집행부와 협력해 제도적 기반을 마련할 계획이다.
◆ 집행부와 협력 추진
안원기 대표의원은 "이번 연구는 서산시만의 차별화된 관광 정책 실현을 위한 출발점"이라고 설명하고 "집행부와의 긴밀한 협의를 통해 실질적인 해안권 관광 활성화 방안을 마련하겠다"고 밝혔다. 연구모임은 안원기 대표의원 외 가선숙·김용경·안동석·이수의·이정수·한석화 의원 6명으로 구성됐다.

◆ Research Project Final Results Released
The 'Seosan Coastal Area Stay-Type Tourism Activation Research Group' (Representative Councilor An Won-gi), a research group under Seosan City Council (Council Chair Cho Dong-sik), held the 'Seosan Coastal Area Stay-Type Tourism Activation Research Project' final report meeting at the Seosan City Council members' waiting room on the 29th. Seven members of the research group and research staff from the Local Autonomy Policy Research Institute attended the report meeting. Park Gong Byung-uk, director of the Local Autonomy Policy Research Institute, presented the final report based on tourism type analysis and proposed strategies and business plans for activating stay-type tourism.
◆ Four Core Projects Derived
The major commercialization plans announced at the report meeting include four sectors: △Ungjdo Guardian Project △UNESCO Tidal Flat National Park World Heritage Center △1-Anchor 8-Linker Group Project △Gulpo Canal Restoration Project. Based on this research, the research group plans to propose policy projects to the municipal administration and cooperate to establish an institutional foundation for reflecting the results into Seosan City policy.
◆ Advancing Cooperation with Municipal Administration
Representative Councilor An Won-gi explained, "This research is a starting point for realizing differentiated tourism policies unique to Seosan City," and stated, "Through close consultation with the municipal administration, we will establish practical coastal area tourism activation measures." The research group consists of Representative Councilor An Won-gi and six other members: Councilors Ga Sun-sook, Kim Yong-kyung, An Dong-seok, Lee Su-ui, Lee Jeong-su, and Han Seok-hwa.
