충북경찰청(청장 이종원)은 12월 29일 직원 성금을 모아 관내 복지시설 3곳에 전달했다. 충북육아원, 청주에덴원, 은빛양로원을 찾아 보호가 필요한 아동, 장애인, 노인을 지원한다.

◆ 직원 참여로 모은 성금 전달

성금 모금은 충북경찰청 직원 전체가 참여했다. 직장협의회도 함께 뜻을 모아 모금에 동참했다. 이번 성금은 해당 복지시설의 생활 안정과 복지 향상에 사용될 계획이다.

◆ 청장 현장 방문으로 격려

이종원 청장은 무의탁 아동 보호시설인 충북육아원을 직접 방문해 성금과 물품을 전달했다. 청장은 시설 관계자들을 격려하며 따뜻한 인사를 나눴다. 청장은 "연말을 맞아 모인 성금이 어려운 이웃에게 작은 위로와 희망이 되기를 바란다"고 말했다.

◆ 지역사회와 함께하는 나눔 지속

충북경찰청은 앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 나눔 활동을 지속할 방침이다. 청장은 "충북경찰청은 따뜻한 나눔을 계속 실천해 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
