충남교육청(교육감 김지철)이 2025년 교육부 주관 시도교육청 정보보호 수준 진단에서 4년 연속 '매우 우수' 등급을 달성했다. 충남교육청은 이번 성과로 정보보호 관리 역량의 우수성을 다시 한번 입증했다.
◆ 8개 분야 종합 평가 결과
교육부 정보보호 수준 진단은 시도교육청 정보보안 체계 전반을 점검하는 연례 평가다. 평가는 정보보안 정책, 사이버 위기 관리 등 8개 분야, 35개 지표, 70개 항목을 대상으로 한다. 충남교육청은 사이버 위기 관리 등 6개 분야에서 '매우 우수', 정보보안 정책 등 2개 분야에서 '우수' 등급을 받았다.
◆ 지속적인 보안 강화 노력
충남교육청은 사이버 침해 대응 강화, 전문 인력 전문성 향상, 정보보호 관리체계 정비 등을 지속 추진해왔다. 한기복 재무과장은 "지능화·고도화되는 사이버 위협에 선제적으로 대응하겠다"며 "정부 공공 인공지능(AI) 확산 정책과 연계해 교육 현장에 안전한 정보보호 환경을 조성하겠다"고 밝혔다.

◆ Comprehensive Evaluation Results Across 8 Categories
The Ministry of Education's Information Security Level Assessment is an annual evaluation that examines the overall information security system of provincial offices of education. The assessment covers 8 categories, 35 indicators, and 70 items including information security policy and cyber crisis management. The Chungnam Office of Education received 'Excellent' ratings in 6 categories including cyber crisis management and 'Good' ratings in 2 categories including information security policy.
◆ Continuous Security Enhancement Efforts
The Chungnam Office of Education has continuously promoted cyber intrusion response enhancement, professional personnel expertise improvement, and information security management system maintenance. Han Gi-bok, Finance Division Director, stated, "We will proactively respond to increasingly intelligent and advanced cyber threats" and added, "We will create a safe information security environment for educational sites in connection with the government's public artificial intelligence (AI) expansion policy."
