◆ 제25회 백목련 축제 개최

천안서여자중학교(교장 김수동)는 24일 학생들의 소질과 재능을 발산하는 '제25회 백목련 축제'를 개최했다. 이번 축제는 학업에 지친 학생들에게 추억을 제공하고 학생이 주체가 되는 학교 문화를 조성하기 위해 마련됐다. 전교생과 교직원 등 교육 공동체 전원이 참여해 소통과 배려의 인성 교육의 장이 됐다.

◆ 오전 체험 부스 및 캠페인 활동

오전에는 3학년 교실과 5층 홈베이스를 중심으로 학생들의 개성이 담긴 체험 부스가 운영됐다. 학생들은 '귀신의 집' 등 창의적인 테마 부스를 직접 기획해 운영했다. 마라 꼬치, 요거트 아이스크림, 컵밥 등 먹거리도 준비했다. 학생자치회는 학교폭력 예방 및 흡연 예방 캠페인 활동을 함께 진행해 건전한 학교 문화 정착에 기여했다.

◆ 오후 공연마당 및 찬조 공연

오후에는 노암관 강당에서 축제의 하이라이트인 '공연마당'이 펼쳐졌다. 학생들은 노래, 댄스, 악기 연주 등 실력을 선보이며 무대를 채웠다. 백석대학교 태권도 시범단의 찬조 공연은 학생들의 환호와 박수를 받으며 축제 분위기를 고조시켰다. 김수동 교장은 "학생들이 주도적으로 축제를 이끌어가는 모습에서 민주 시민으로서의 자질과 역량을 확인했다"며 "학생들이 개성과 목소리를 당당하게 표현하며 창의적인 미래 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 교육 활동을 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.

◆ Morning Experience Booths and Campaign Activities

In the morning, experience booths reflecting students' individuality were operated in 3rd-grade classrooms and the 5th-floor home base. Students directly planned and operated creative themed booths such as 'Haunted House.' They also prepared food items including mala skewers, yogurt ice cream, and cup rice. The student council conducted school violence prevention and smoking prevention campaign activities, contributing to establishing a healthy school culture.

In the afternoon, the 'Performance Event,' the highlight of the festival, was held at Noam Hall auditorium. Students showcased their skills in singing, dancing, and playing musical instruments. Principal Kim Su-dong stated, "Through seeing students lead the festival proactively, I confirmed their qualities and capabilities as democratic citizens" and added, "We will support various educational activities so that students can confidently express their individuality and voices and grow into creative future talents."
