◆ 광명동굴·자원순환시설·스마트팜 현장 견학
홍성군의회 방문단은 광명동굴을 찾아 유휴 자원을 관광자원으로 활용한 사례를 살펴봤다. 방문단은 관광·문화 콘텐츠 개발과 지역경제 활성화 측면에서 정책적 시사점을 공유했다.
방문단은 자원순환시설을 견학하며 생활폐기물 처리 및 자원 재활용 시스템 운영 현황을 확인했다. 방문단은 친환경 정책 추진 과정과 행정적 지원 방안에 대해 의견을 나눴다.
방문단은 스마트팜 시설을 방문해 정보통신기술(ICT) 활용 첨단 농업기술 적용 사례를 살펴봤다. 방문단은 농업 고부가가치화와 지속가능한 농업 정책 추진을 위한 운영 모델을 벤치마킹했다.
◆ 양 의회 차담회 개최 및 향후 계획
홍성군의회 방문단은 광명시의회 의장단 및 의원들과 차담회를 가졌다. 양측은 의정 운영 현황, 지역 현안, 상임위원회 운영 사례에 대해 의견을 교환했다. 양 의회는 기념품 교환과 만찬을 통해 우호 협력 관계를 강화했다.

The Hongseong County Council delegation held a tea meeting with Gwangmyeong City Council leadership and members. Both sides exchanged opinions on legislative operation status, regional issues, and standing committee operation cases. Both councils strengthened their friendly cooperative relationship through gift exchanges and a dinner.
Chairman Kim Deok-bae said, "This legislative exchange visit was a meaningful time to examine actual policy sites together and share experiences, going beyond mutual visits centered on festivals." Chairman Kim stated, "We will continue to share excellent policy cases through ongoing exchanges between sister councils and reflect them in legislative activities suited to Hongseong County's circumstances."
