◆ 충남교육청 필승전략 회의 개최
충남교육청(교육감 김지철)은 12월 23일부터 24일까지 한화리조트 대천파로스에서 '2026 제55회 전국소년체육대회 필승전략 생각나눔자리'를 개최했다. 교육지원청 체육업무담당 장학관·장학사·주무관과 도교육청 체육건강과 담당자 등 50명이 참석했다. 내년 5월 개최 예정인 제55회 전국소년체육대회를 대비하기 위한 자리였다.
◆ 학생선수 성장 중심의 중장기 전략 수립
회의는 관내 초·중학교 학교운동부 현황과 실적 전망을 분석해 진행됐다. 단순한 성적 목표 설정을 벗어나 학생선수 성장과 발달을 중심에 두고 중장기 지원 전략을 논의했다. 동계 훈련 기간 동안 경기력 향상을 위한 체계적인 지원 방안을 마련했다.
◆ 교육감 "맞춤형 지원으로 경기력 강화"
김지철 교육감은 "충남선수단이 지난 여러 해 전국소년체육대회에서 우수한 성적을 거두고 있다"며 "체계적인 분석과 맞춤형 지원을 통해 경기력을 올리고 학생선수 기량 향상을 다각도로 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Chungnam Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Ji-chul) held the "2026 55th National Youth Sports Competition Victory Strategy Idea-Sharing Session" at Hanwha Resort Daecheon Paros from December 23-24. Fifty attendees participated, including directors of physical education affairs, educational specialists, and staff members from each education support office, along with officials from the Chungnam Office of Education's Physical Education and Health Division. The meeting prepared for the 55th National Youth Sports Competition scheduled to take place in May of next year.
◆ Establishment of Long-term Strategy Centered on Student-Athlete Growth
The meeting analyzed the current status and performance outlook of elementary and middle school athletic programs within the region. Beyond simple performance targets, discussions focused on long-term support strategies centered on student-athlete growth and development. The officials established systematic approaches to enhance athletic performance during winter training periods.

Superintendent Kim Ji-chul stated, "Chungnam athletes have achieved outstanding results at the National Youth Sports Competition over the past several years," and added, "Through systematic analysis and customized support, we will strengthen athletic performance and comprehensively support student-athletes in improving their skills."
