◆ 교육·장학금 지원으로 지역 인재 양성
충북 단양군에서 지역 학생 지원을 위한 장학금 기탁이 이어지고 있다. 대호단양 골프&리조트는 9일 단양장학회에 1,000만 원을 전달했다. 황인석 대표는 "지역 학생들의 미래에 기여하는 것을 목표로 기탁하게 됐다"며 향후 인재 육성 지원을 약속했다. 대호단양 골프&리조트는 2021년부터 2023년까지 매년 1,000만 원을 기탁했고, 지난해 쌀 1,000kg을 전달하는 등 지역사회 나눔을 지속했다. 한국자유총연맹 단양군지회 여성회와 단성면위원회도 같은 날 단양장학회에 각각 100만 원을 기탁했다. 여성회는 2018년부터 장학금을 전달해 누적 기탁액 800만 원에 달한다.
◆ 취약계층 겨울나기 지원으로 지역사회 안전망 강화
매포읍청년회는 9일 지역 내 저소득 취약가구 3가구 겨울나기를 위해 지역사랑상품권 100만 원을 기탁했다. 기탁금은 지난달 29일 연말 정기총회에서 조성됐으며, 가구당 상황을 고려해 2가구에 각 35만 원, 1가구에 30만 원의 난방비로 배분됐다. 서형국 매포읍청년회장은 "지역 공동체의 활력과 나눔 문화를 확산하는 데 앞장서겠다"고 밝혔다. 건설업체 ㈜양양은 8일 가곡면 지역사회보장협의체를 방문해 저소득 취약가구 지원 목적으로 100만 원을 지정 기탁했다. 이는 올해 상반기 기탁 100만 원에 이어 두 번째 기탁이다.
◆ 지속적 나눔으로 지역사회 신뢰 기반 구축
㈜양양은 지역 행사와 복지사업에 매년 후원을 진행해오고 있으며, 특히 취약계층 지원에 선도적 역할을 하고 있다. 권혁웅 대표는 "도움이 필요한 이웃에게 따뜻한 마음이 전해지길 바라며, 지역사회와 함께 성장하는 기업이 되도록 노력하겠다"고 말했다. 기탁 절차는 충북사회복지공동모금회를 거쳐 진행되며, 지역 관계기관이 가구를 직접 방문하는 방식으로 지원한다. 단양군은 교육·복지·문화 분야에서 지역 기업과 단체가 주도적으로 참여하는 나눔 생태계를 형성하고 있다.

Daeho Danyang Golf & Resort has donated 10 million won annually from 2021 to 2023, and last year delivered 1,000 kg of rice, maintaining consistent community sharing activities. The Korea Federation for Freedom Women's Association Danyang County Branch and Danseong-myeon Committee also donated 1 million won each to Danyang Scholarship Foundation on the same day. The Women's Association has delivered scholarships since 2018, reaching an accumulated donation of 8 million won.
◆ Strengthening Regional Safety Net through Support for Vulnerable Groups' Winter Survival
Maepori-eup Youth Association donated 1 million won in regional gift certificates on the 9th to support three low-income vulnerable households in the area for winter survival. The donation was formed at the year-end regular general meeting held on the 29th of last month, distributed as heating expenses of 350,000 won each to two households and 300,000 won to one household. Seo Hyung-guk, Chairman of Maepori-eup Youth Association, stated, "I will take the lead in expanding the vitality of the regional community and spreading a culture of sharing." Construction company Yangyangyang visited the Gok-myeon Community Welfare Council on the 8th and designated donated 1 million won for supporting low-income vulnerable households. This is the second donation following the 1 million won donation in the first half of this year.

Yangyangyang conducts annual sponsorships for regional events and welfare projects and plays a leading role in supporting vulnerable groups. Representative Kwon Hyuk-woong stated, "I hope warm feelings are conveyed to neighbors in need, and I will make efforts to become a company that grows together with the regional community." The donation procedure is conducted through the Chungcheongbuk-do Community Chest of Korea, with local agencies visiting households directly to provide support. Danyang County is forming an ecosystem of sharing where regional businesses and organizations take the lead in education, welfare, and cultural sectors.
