◆ 기업부터 유아까지 대상별 맞춤형 교육 추진

충북도 내 5개 기관이 기후재난 대응 범도민 환경교육을 12월 중 마무리한다. 창체넷은 도내 기업체 5곳(㈜우리산전, 수한테크 등)을 대상으로 25일까지 산업체 종사자 기후재난 대응력 향상과 기업 ESG(환경·사회·지배구조) 전환 기반 인식 확산 교육을 진행한다. 제천시지속가능협의회는 유아·초등학생·중학생 대상 맞춤형 교육콘텐츠 6종을 개발해 총 16회 교육을 실시한다. 제천시는 지난달까지 72회(1,983명) 순회교육을 완료했다.

◆ 도민 맞춤형 기후재난 매뉴얼 시범 적용 중

충청북도환경교육센터는 12월 18일까지 교육 일정 64개 기관 210회 3,550명 완료를 목표로 추진 중이다. 국가위기관리연구소와 협력해 개발한 침수·폭염·호우 등 재난별 도민 맞춤형 기후재난대응 매뉴얼을 시범 적용하고 있다. 청남대 일원 역사·문화·생태·경관 자원 조사도 진행 중이며, 향후 관광자원과 연계한 환경교육 모델을 구축해 도내에 전파할 계획이다.

◆ 청주·진천, 지역 맞춤형 환경교육 강화

청주국제에코콤플렉스는 12월 돌봄센터·초등학교 대상 20회 교육을 실시해 총 95회 마무리한다. 온라인 참여 프로그램 '2025 기후재난 이해와 대응 환경교육 공모전 실천이벤트'를 진행하고 18일 '청주시민 누구나 환경교육 그림 공모전 시상식'을 개최한다. 진천군환경교육센터는 기후재난 환경교육극 '할머니의 바다구하기 대작전'을 개발해 시범운영(4회)했으며, 12월 중 어린이집 4개소·경로당 2개소 순회교육 6회를 진행한다.

이택수 충북도환경정책과장은 "대상별 교육 프로그램을 적극 발굴하고 재난유형별 도민 맞춤형 매뉴얼을 제작하는 등 도민 환경의식 개선을 위한 교육을 진행 중"이라며 "내년에 올해 발굴하고 시범운영한 사업들을 보완·확산해 지속가능한 환경실천 교육기반을 구축하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Five institutions in Chungbuk Province complete comprehensive climate disaster response environmental education in December. ChangChae Net conducts education for five local companies (including Woori Sangjeon Corp. and Suhan Tech) through the 25th, focusing on improving climate disaster response capabilities among industrial workers and promoting corporate ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) transition awareness. The Jecheon Sustainable Development Council develops six tailored educational contents targeting early childhood, elementary, and middle school students, implementing 16 total sessions. Jecheon completed 72 sessions (1,983 participants) through mobile education programs last month.

◆ Province-Customized Climate Disaster Manual Undergoing Pilot Application

The Chungcheongbuk-do Environmental Education Center targets completion of 64 institutions, 210 sessions, and 3,550 participants through December 18th. The center applies a customized climate disaster response manual developed in cooperation with the National Crisis Management Research Institute, covering disaster types including flooding, extreme heat, and heavy rain. The center continues surveying historical, cultural, ecological, and landscape resources in the Cheongnamdae area and plans to establish an environmental education model linking tourism resources for province-wide implementation.

◆ Cheongju and Jincheon Strengthen Community-Customized Environmental Education

Cheongju International Eco Complex implements 20 education sessions for childcare centers and elementary schools in December, completing 95 total sessions. The organization runs the online participation program "2025 Climate Disaster Understanding and Response Environmental Education Contest Practice Event" and holds the "Cheongju Citizen Environmental Education Drawing Contest Awards Ceremony" on the 18th. Jincheon County Environmental Education Center develops the climate disaster environmental education play "Grandma's Great Ocean Rescue Operation," conducting pilot runs (4 sessions). The center implements six mobile education sessions at four childcare facilities and two senior centers in December.

Lee Taek-su, Director of Chungcheongbuk-do's Environmental Policy Division, stated: "We actively discover target-specific education programs and produce disaster-type customized manuals to improve citizen environmental awareness," and added, "Next year, we will complement and expand programs discovered and piloted this year to establish sustainable environmental practice education infrastructure."
