국립한국교통대-충북대 통합 좌초 위기...충북대 3주체 모두 반대

국립한국교통대학교와 충북대학교의 통합 추진이 좌초 위기에 놓였다.

4일 양 대학에 따르면 '글로컬대학30 계속 추진 여부 찬반 투표' 결과, 두 대학의 표심이 극명하게 엇갈렸다.

한국교통대는 교원 67.64%, 직원·조교 73.68%, 학생 53.54%가 찬성해 3주체 모두 가결됐다. 반면 충북대는 교원 55.77%, 직원 52.84%, 학생 63.17%가 반대해 전 주체가 부결됐다.

양 대학 합의 절차상 통합 신청서 제출에는 양측 구성원 동의가 필수다. 충북대의 완강한 반대로 최종 통합 신청서 작성은 사실상 불가능해졌다.

향후 글로컬대학30 사업 지정 취소 위기와 양 대학 간 관계 설정에 상당한 진통이 예상된다.
