충남 천안시는 미세먼지 저감과 대기질 개선을 위해 노후 경유차 조기 폐차 보조금을 추가 지원한다고 1일 밝혔다.
천안시에 따르면 이번 지원 규모는 약 120대다. 접수기간은 3일부터 24일까지다.
지원 대상은 신청일 기준 천안시에 등록된 차량이어야 한다. 대기관리권역 또는 천안시에 6개월 이상 등록된 배출가스 4등급 경유차와 5등급 자동차가 해당된다. 도로용 3종 건설기계는 2009년 8월 31일 이전 배출허용 기준 적용 차량이다. 지게차와 굴착기는 2004년 12월 31일 이전 배출허용 기준 적용 차량이다.
보조금 상한액은 차량 종류와 등급에 따라 다르다. 3.5t 미만 기준 5등급 차량은 최대 300만원, 4등급 차량은 최대 800만원이다. 3.5t 이상 기준 5등급 차량은 최대 3000만원, 4등급 차량은 최대 7800만원까지 지원된다.
도로용 3종 건설기계는 최대 1억원, 지게차는 최대 7900만원, 굴착기는 최대 1억2000만원까지 보조금을 받을 수 있다. 소상공인과 저소득층 차량은 상한액 범위 내에서 100만원을 추가 지원받는다.
3.5t 미만 5등급 차량 중 저감장치 부착이 불가한 경우 추가 보조금이 지급된다. 화물·특수 차량은 100만원, 그 외 차량은 60만원까지 상한액 범위 내에서 추가 지원된다.

Road-type Category 3 construction machinery must meet emission standards applied before August 31, 2009. Forklifts and excavators must meet emission standards applied before December 31, 2004.
Subsidy limits vary by vehicle type and grade. For vehicles under 3.5 tons, Grade 5 vehicles receive up to 3 million won and Grade 4 vehicles up to 8 million won. For vehicles 3.5 tons and over, Grade 5 vehicles receive up to 30 million won and Grade 4 vehicles up to 78 million won.
Road-type Category 3 construction machinery can receive up to 100 million won, forklifts up to 79 million won, and excavators up to 120 million won. Vehicles owned by small business owners and low-income households receive an additional 1 million won within the subsidy limit.
