태안교육지원청(교육장 지재규)이 관내 교원들의 국악 역량강화를 위한 '2025 예술융합수업 꽃피우기 직무연수'를 진행 중이다. 11월 26일부터 12월 31일까지 6회에 걸쳐 진행되는 이번 연수는 국악의 이해, 전통음악 감상, 수업 재구성 사례 안내 등 실제 수업에 적용 가능한 실질적 내용으로 구성됐다. 학생들의 감수성과 창의성을 키우는 교육기반으로 예술교육을 강조한 정책의 일환이다.
올해 연수는 가야금 실기 중심으로 진행된다. 기본자세와 조율법 익히기부터 농현·퇴성·윤현 등 전통 주법과 짧은 곡 연습까지 단계별로 구성됐다. 참여 교사들은 직접 악기를 연주하면서 '가야금 실기-표현 활동-융합수업 설계'의 학습 흐름을 경험한다. 이러한 구조는 현장 적용 가능성을 높이는 데 중점을 두고 설계됐다. 참여 교사들로부터 높은 호응을 얻고 있다.
연수에 참여한 교사는 "직접 가야금을 연주해 보니 국악이 생각보다 훨씬 친근하게 느껴졌다"며 "학생들과 함께 실기 활동을 접목한 수업을 충분히 시도해볼 수 있을 것 같다"고 밝혔다. 지재규 교육장은 "교원들이 전문성을 바탕으로 학생 중심의 예술융합수업을 실천할 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원하겠다"고 말했다.

Taean Office of Education (Superintendent Ji Jae-gyun) is running the '2025 Art-Integrated Class Flower Blooming Teacher Training Program' to strengthen teachers' Korean classical music competency. Operating from November 26 through December 31 over six sessions, the program combines Korean music understanding, traditional music appreciation, and classroom restructuring case studies with practical content applicable to actual instruction. The initiative aligns with education policy emphasizing art education as a foundation that cultivates student sensitivity and creativity.
This year's training focuses on hands-on gayageum practice. Curriculum progresses from mastering basic posture and tuning methods through traditional playing techniques—nongbyeon, toiseong, and yunhyeon—and short piece practice. Participating teachers experience the learning flow of 'gayageum performance-expression activities-art-integrated class design' through direct instrument practice. This structure prioritizes heightening practical field application potential. The program receives strong positive response from participating teachers.
A participating teacher stated, "Playing gayageum directly made Korean classical music feel much more approachable than expected, and I believe I can sufficiently attempt lessons incorporating hands-on activities with my students." Superintendent Ji Jae-gyun said, "I will continue to support teachers in implementing student-centered art-integrated classes based on professional expertise."
