보은군 어머니후원회(회장 구경숙)가 11월 28일 보은교육지원청을 방문해 지역 학생들 학습 기회 확대를 위해 장학금 310만원을 기탁했다. 장학금은 저소득층 가정에서도 학업 의지를 갖춘 학생들이 꿈을 이어갈 수 있도록 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.
장학금 조성 과정은 지역사회 협력으로 이뤄졌다. 쌀 전업농과 농협충북본부, 농협보은군지부에서 쌀 300kg을 지원받았고, 보은교육지원청 교육공동체가 11월 11일 한양병원 사거리에서 개최한 가래떡데이 행사에서 판매한 수익금 310만원으로 조성됐다. 이는 지역사회가 함께 교육 나눔을 실천한 결과다.
구경숙 회장은 "작은 정성이지만 학생들이 자신의 가능성을 믿고 큰 꿈을 펼치는 데 도움이 되길 바란다"고 기탁 배경을 설명했다. 전병일 보은교육장은 "기탁해주신 장학금을 학생들에게 소중히 전달하겠다"고 감사를 표했다. 보은교육지원청은 민관 협력 기반으로 교육 나눔 문화를 확산하고 지역 학생 성장을 지속 지원할 방침이다.

The scholarship was established to support students from low-income families who maintain academic determination in realizing their dreams.
The scholarship was raised through community cooperation. Rice farmers, the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation Chungbuk Head Office, and the Boeun County branch of the agricultural cooperative provided 300 kilograms of rice. The fundraising resulted from rice cake sales at a Garaetteok Day event held on November 11 at Hanyang Hospital intersection by the Boeun Office of Education's education community. This represents the fruits of community-wide education sharing practice.
Chair Gu Kyung-sook explained the background of the donation, stating, "Though a small gesture, I hope it helps students believe in their potential and pursue greater dreams." Education Director Jeon Byeong-il expressed gratitude, saying, "We will carefully deliver the donated scholarship to students."
