◆미래산업 육성과 균형발전 강조

시장은 6대 추진 방향을 제시했다. 첫째는 "제2의 실리콘밸리" 도약이다. 첨단 디스플레이 국가연구플랫폼(3,000억 원 투입)을 아산에 유치했으며 제조 AI 스타트업파크와 AI 데이터센터 건립을 추진한다. 모빌리티 전장기술 특화사업, 첨단반도체 패키징 특화단지 유치, 바이오·헬스 혁신 기관 집적 등을 통해 국가 전략기술 R&D 허브로 자리매김한다는 계획이다.

둘째는 "50만 자족도시" 실현이다. 17개 산업단지 조성, 탕정제2신도시(108만 평) 개발, 20여 개 도시개발 사업을 차질 없이 추진하며 천안아산역 복합환승센터(6,700억 원)를 중부권 최고 수준의 혁신 복합 중심지로 조성한다. GTX-C 노선 연장을 통해 "30분 도시 아산"을 실현한다고 밝혔다.

넷째는 일상 속 문화와 체육 활성화다. 아산 예술의전당 건립, 모종복합문화공간 조성, 반다비체육센터·장재국민체육센터 등 다양한 체육시설을 확충한다.

다섯째는 "따뜻한 공동체" 구축이다. "아산형 기본사회" 실현을 위해 9대 분야 로드맵을 수립하고 돌봄·의료·소득·교육·고용·주거 등 사회 전 영역에 촘촘한 안전망을 구축한다. 장애인 자립 지원, 초고령사회 대비 어르신 복지정책, 다문화 지원 정책 등 사회적 약자 지원을 강화한다.

여섯째는 지속 가능한 지역 구조 조성이다. 친환경·지역농산물 식재료 공급 확대, 스마트팜 확대 등으로 농업 경쟁력을 강화하고 신재생에너지 투자로 탄소중립 시대에 대응한다.

시장은 "지난 4월 시민 신임으로 재취임한 후 민생경제 회복을 최우선으로 추진했으며 국립 아산경찰병원 예비타당성조사 통과, 15년 연속 전국 기초자치단체 수출 1위, 23개사 7,307억 원 투자유치를 달성했다"고 강조했다.
