속리초등학교가 2024년도 문화예술교육 1년 성과를 공개했다.

속리초등학교(교장 문은경)는 11월 24일 학생·교사·학부모 200여 명이 참석한 가운데 '성과공유회'를 개최했다. 학교 측은 25일 행사 결과를 발표했다.

◆ 보은교육발전특구 예산으로 추진한 이 사업은 문화예술교육을 중심에 두고 독서·인문교육, 진로교육, 교원 전문성 연수를 연계한 교육모델이다.

오전 체험 부스, 전문 극단 뮤지컬 공연…현장 진로탐색 병행

오전 행사는 학생자치회가 준비한 '뮤지컬·독서 연계 예술 체험 부스'로 시작했다. 책·예술·놀이를 결합한 활동이 진행됐다.

◆ 전문 극단이 뮤지컬 '베어만: 마지막 잎새'를 공연했다. 속리초와 관기초(인근 학교) 학생들이 함께 관람했다. 공연 후 배우들과 대화하며 공연·배우 직업군에 대한 진로탐색 활동을 진행했다.

오후 학생 창작 영상 상영, 다음 해 주제까지 학생이 결정

오후에는 학생들이 직접 제작한 창작뮤지컬 영상을 상영했다. 교육 성과를 반영하는 평가 시간을 가졌다.

◆ 학생들은 2026학년도 공연 주제를 직접 논의·결정했다. 학교는 이를 통해 학생 주도 문화예술교육의 연속성을 강화했다고 설명했다.

◆ 행사와 함께 교직원이 준비한 '미미 장터'(먹거리 판매)를 운영해 축제 분위기를 조성했다. 교사들은 뮤지컬 연출·안무·음악 분야 전문 연수로 예술교육 역량을 높였다.

문은경 교장은 "성과공유회는 과정 중심 성장과 교육공동체 협력을 구체적으로 보여주는 자리였다"고 밝혔다. 그는 "앞으로도 속리초만의 문화예술교육 모델을 지속 발전시키겠다"고 덧붙였다.

Sorni Elementary School (Principal Moon Eun-kyung) held a 'Performance Sharing Conference' on November 24 attended by approximately 200 students, teachers and parents. School officials announced the results on November 25.

◆ The project, implemented with Boeun Education Special District budget, centered culture and arts education while linking reading and humanities education, career education and teacher professional development training.

Morning Experience Booths and Professional Theater Company Musical Performance Combined with On-Site Career Exploration

The morning event began with 'Musical and Reading-Linked Art Experience Booths' prepared by the student council. Activities combining books, art and play took place.

◆ A professional theater company performed the musical 'Bearman: The Last Leaf.' Students from Sorni Elementary and nearby Gwangi Elementary attended together. After the performance, students engaged in career exploration activities by speaking directly with actors about performing and acting professions.

Afternoon Student-Created Video Screening and Students Decide Future Performance Topics

The afternoon featured a screening of student-created original musical videos. An evaluation session reflecting educational outcomes was held.

◆ Students directly discussed and determined the performance theme for the 2026 school year. School officials explained that through this process, they strengthened the continuity of student-led culture and arts education.

◆ Along with the event, teachers operated a 'Mimi Market' (food sales) to create a festival atmosphere. Teachers elevated their arts education capacity through professional training in musical direction, choreography and music.

Principal Moon Eun-kyung stated, "The performance sharing conference concretely demonstrated process-centered growth and educational community collaboration." She added, "We will continue to develop Sorni Elementary's unique culture and arts education model."
