제33회 충청북도지사기 생활체육 탁구대회가 11월 22-23일 제천체육관에서 탁구 동호인 600명과 관계자 50명 등 총 650명 참가해 마무리됐다. 충청북도체육회(회장 윤현우)가 주최했고, 충청북도탁구협회와 제천시탁구협회가 주관했으며, 제천시체육회가 후원했다.

◆ 7개 부로 구성된 경기 진행

대회는 일반부(남·여)를 일반볼과 라지볼로 나눠 단체(혼성)전과 개인전 7개 부로 구성했다. 예선 리그와 결선 토너먼트로 진행됐으며, 각 부별로 단체전과 개인전 종합 시상을 실시했다. 전반적 경기 운영이 안전하고 체계적으로 이루어졌다.

◆ 최적 운영으로 높은 만족도 확보

제천시와 제천시체육회가 최적의 체육관 제공과 다양한 지원을 실시해 참가자 만족도가 높았다. 제천시체육회 안성국 회장은 "11개 시·군 동호인들이 화합하는 뜻깊은 대회가 됐다"고 밝혔다.
