◆ 도내 최우수기관 선정

예산군이 2025년 충청남도 에너지 효율 대상 종합평가에서 최우수기관 선정을 받았다. 충청남도가 주최하고 한국에너지공단이 주관한 이번 평가에서 예산군 선정은 7년 연속 기관 표창의 영예로 이어진다. 평가위원회는 예산군의 온실가스 감축 활동과 에너지 절약 문화 확산을 높이 평가했다.

◆ 신재생에너지 사업 9년 연속 선정

예산군은 산업통상자원부와 한국에너지공단이 추진하는 신재생에너지 융복합지원사업에 9년 연속 선정됐다. 군민 참여형 온실가스 감축 활동, 고효율·녹색제품 우선 구매, 에너지 절약 캠페인 등을 통해 에너지 절약 문화 정착에 기여한 점이 인정됐다. 예산군은 2026년 신재생에너지 사업으로 국비 12억원을 확보했으며, 태양광·신재생에너지 설치를 총 221개소에서 추진할 계획이다.

◆ 솔라리그 전국 톱 20 선정

예산군은 제7회 대한민국 솔라리그(K-Solar League) 대회에서 전국 226개 기초지자체 중 2025년 태양광보급성과 우수지자체 20곳으로 선정됐다. 평가는 정부 신재생에너지 보급통계를 기준으로 면적당 보급용량, 1인당 보급용량, 전년 대비 증가율 등을 종합 분석해 이뤄졌다. 예산군 관계자는 "지속적인 에너지절약 문화 확산과 신재생에너지 보급으로 탄소중립을 선도하는 예산군을 구현하겠다"고 밝혔다.

The evaluation committee praised the county's greenhouse gas reduction activities and promotion of energy conservation culture.

◆ Ninth Consecutive Selection in Renewable Energy Project

Yesang County was selected for nine consecutive years in the renewable energy convergence support project led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Energy Agency. Recognition came for promoting citizen-based greenhouse gas reduction activities, prioritizing purchases of high-efficiency and eco-friendly products, and implementing energy-saving campaigns to establish energy conservation culture. Yesang County secured 12 billion won in national funding for 2026 renewable energy initiatives and plans to install solar and renewable energy systems at 221 locations.

◆ Ranked Top 20 Nationally in Solar League

Yesang County was selected as one of 20 outstanding basic municipal governments for 2025 solar installation performance at the 7th Korea Solar League K-Solar League competition, competing against 226 basic municipal governments nationwide. The evaluation analyzed installation capacity per unit area, per capita installation capacity, and year-over-year growth rates based on government renewable energy distribution statistics. An official from Yesang County stated, "We will realize Yesang County as a leader in carbon neutrality through continuous promotion of energy conservation culture and renewable energy distribution."
