◆ 시민안전실·소방본부, 통합 안전캠페인·제설 체계 강화 주문

교육안전위원회 위원들은 시민안전실과 소방본부에 시청과 교육청 통합 안전캠페인 운영으로 효율성 도모, 겨울철 제설 취약지역 중심 선제적 대응 체계 구축, 신종·유사 놀이시설 관련 안전사고 예방 기준 수립 및 관리 체계 정비, 특이·고질 민원 대응 역량 강화를 위한 모의훈련 실시 등을 요청했다.

◆ 교육청, 학교 안전 체계 강화·다문화 학생 지원 확대 요청

세종시교육청에는 교육 소통·홍보 강화로 시민 이해도 제고, 현장 수요 반영 정책 추진, 수능 이후 학년말 학습 공백 기간 교육과정 내실화, 교육청 관리 공사 현장 관리 철저, 학교 내 안전 체계 지속 점검 강화, 교직원 진로·학습 지도 역량 강화, 다문화 학생과 학교 밖 청소년 진로 지원 확대 등을 추가 주문했다.

윤지성 위원장은 "세종시교육청, 시민안전실, 소방본부 공직자분 노고를 확인했다. 맡은 직무에 충실히 임하신 점 감사드린다"고 했다. 이어 "공직자 일은 끊임없는 연속성이 가장 중요하다. 해가 바뀌는 시절이지만 공백 발생 없이 직무 수행을 당부한다"고 강조했다.

교육안전위원회는 26일부터 제5~7차 회의를 개최해 2026년도 세종특별자치시교육비특별회계 세입세출 예산안을 예비심사할 예정이다.

Committee members requested the Public Safety Office and Fire Department implement integrated safety campaigns between City Hall and the Office of Education to improve efficiency, establish proactive response systems focused on winter snow-vulnerable areas, develop safety standards for new and similar play facilities to prevent accidents, and conduct mock drills to strengthen special and chronic civil complaint response capabilities.

◆ Office of Education Requested to Strengthen School Safety Systems and Expand Multicultural Student Support

The committee requested the Office of Education strengthen education communication and publicity to improve citizen understanding, implement policies reflecting field needs, ensure substantive curriculum operations during post-College Scholastic Ability Test academic gaps, maintain strict on-site management of education-related projects, continuously inspect and strengthen school safety systems, enhance teachers' career guidance and learning instruction capabilities, and expand career support for multicultural students and out-of-school youth.

Chairman Yoon Ji-sung stated, "I confirmed the dedication of public officials at the Office of Education, Public Safety Office, and Fire Department. I appreciate their commitment to their assigned duties." He emphasized, "Continuity remains paramount in public sector work. As we approach the new year, we must maintain seamless operations without gaps."

The committee plans to hold its fifth through seventh meetings beginning December 26 to conduct preliminary review of the 2026 Sejong Special Self-Governing City Education Special Account budget proposal.
