◆ AI 활용 행정혁신 본격화
옥천군 정부는 14일 군청 대회의실에서 'AI 활용 행정업무 추진현황 3차 보고회'를 개최했다. 지난 3월 조직한 'AI 기반 행정혁신 추진단'의 성과를 정리하고 내년도 추진 방향을 점검하는 자리다. 이날 보고회는 23개 부서가 참석해 총 39건의 AI 활용 사례를 공유했다.
◆ 신규 사례 4건 포함 다층적 추진
신규 사업으로 AI 기반 법률서비스, 주요 관광 문의 자동 응답 시스템, AI 기반 음성합성 전관방송 시스템, 빅데이터·인공지능 기반 공유재산 모니터링시스템 4건이 추가됐다. 기존 사례 중에는 스마트 돌봄 AI스피커, 독거농인 응급안전시스템, 인공지능 치매 통합 돌봄서비스가 핵심 성과로 주목받았다. GPT 기반 민원안내 시스템은 연중무휴 24시간 자동 응대 서비스 운영 중이다.
◆ 조례 제정·경진대회로 제도적 기반 강화
옥천군은 7월 충청북도 도내 최초로 'AI 행정 조례안'을 제정·시행했다. 11월부터는 직원 대상 'AI 활용 행정업무개선 경진대회'를 개최 중이다. 군 관계자는 "AI 기술로 군민이 체감할 수 있는 실질적 행정서비스 개선을 이루고, 디지털 시대에 부합하는 스마트 행정환경 조성에 지속 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.

◆ AI-Driven Administrative Reform Gains Momentum
Okcheon County Government held the 'Third Report Meeting on AI-Driven Administrative Work Implementation Status' on November 14 at the county office conference hall. The meeting reviewed progress from the 'AI-Based Administrative Innovation Task Force' established in March and examined plans for next year. Twenty-three departments participated, sharing a total of 39 AI application cases.
◆ Four New Projects Added to Multi-Layered Strategy
New projects include AI-based legal services, automated response system for major tourism inquiries, AI-based voice synthesis public address system, and big data-powered shared property monitoring system. Existing flagship programs—smart care AI speakers, emergency safety systems for isolated elderly farmers, and AI-integrated dementia care services—garnered particular attention. The GPT-based citizen inquiry system provides round-the-clock automated response services.
◆ Institutional Foundation Strengthened Through Ordinance and Competition
Okcheon County enacted the 'AI Administration Ordinance' in July, becoming the first in North Chungcheong Province to do so. Since November, the county has hosted an 'AI-Based Administrative Improvement Competition' for employees. County officials stated, "We will achieve tangible improvements in administrative services through AI technology and continue efforts to create a smart administrative environment suited to the digital age."
