트로트 가수 김다현이 파주시 홍보대사로 위촉되며 공익활동 영역을 넓혀가고 있다.

4일 파주시에 따르면 파주시는 이날 트로트 가수 김다현을 홍보대사로 위촉하고 2년간 시의 주요 정책과 문화·관광 홍보 등 다양한 활동을 함께 하기로 했다.

◆ 4살부터 판소리, 6살부터 트로트 시작

김다현은 '청학동 훈장'으로 알려진 김봉곤 훈장의 막내딸로, 2019년 곡 '꽃처녀'로 데뷔한 트로트 가수이자 국악인이다. 2009년생인 그는 4살 때 판소리를 배우기 시작해 판소리 경연대회만 10회 참가한 경력을 보유하고 있다.

6살 때 트로트계에 입문한 김다현은 초등학교 5학년 때 MBN '보이스트롯'에서 준우승을 거뒀다. 이듬해 TV조선 '미스트롯2'에 도전해 3등을 차지하며 당시 시청률 32%를 기록하고 차세대 트로트 가수로 자리매김했다.

◆ 한일 양국 오가며 활발한 활동

지난해에는 MBN '현역가왕'에서 3위, '한일가왕전' MVP에 올랐다. 현재 한국과 일본을 오가며 드라마 OST와 일본어 노래를 발매하는 등 다양한 연령층에서 팬심을 사로잡고 있다.

지난 4월에는 고양시에서 열린 '고양시 보드게임 가족 한마음 대축제'에 깜짝 게스트로 참석해 '신의 한 수' 이세돌 국수와 알까기 대결을 펼쳐 큰 관심을 받았다. 고양시체육회 주최, 보드아리아협동조합·뉴시스 주관, 고양시·한국스포츠보드게임협회 후원으로 열린 당시 행사에서 프로바둑 9단 이세돌과 K-트롯 9단 김다현의 알까기 대결이 성사되며 행사 열기를 최고조로 끌어올렸다.

김다현은 최근 일본 나라현에서 열린 한일 문화 교류 공연에 참여하는 등 해외 무대에서도 활발하게 활동 중이다.

◆ Started pansori at age 4, trot at age 6

Kim Da-hyun is the youngest daughter of Kim Bong-gon, known as the 'Cheonghak-dong master,' and is a trot singer and Korean traditional musician who debuted in 2019 with the song 'Flower Girl.' Born in 2009, she started learning pansori at age 4 and has participated in pansori competitions 10 times.

Kim Da-hyun, who entered the trot world at age 6, won second place in MBN's 'Voice Trot' when she was in 5th grade of elementary school. The following year, she challenged TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2' and placed 3rd, recording a 32% viewer rating at the time and establishing herself as a next-generation trot singer.

◆ Active activities between Korea and Japan

Last year, she placed 3rd in MBN's 'Active King of Singers' and won MVP in 'Korea-Japan King of Singers Battle.' She is currently capturing fans of various age groups by releasing drama OSTs and Japanese songs while working between Korea and Japan.

In April, she attended the 'Goyang City Board Game Family Unity Festival' held in Goyang city as a surprise guest and received great attention by having a ddakji showdown with 'God's Move' Lee Se-dol 9-dan. At the event hosted by Goyang City Sports Association, organized by Board Aria Cooperative and Newsis, and sponsored by Goyang City and Korea Sports Board Game Association, the ddakji showdown between professional Go 9-dan Lee Se-dol and K-Trot 9-dan Kim Da-hyun took place, bringing the event's excitement to its peak.

Kim Da-hyun is also actively performing on overseas stages, recently participating in a Korea-Japan cultural exchange performance held in Nara Prefecture, Japan.
