◆ 트랙·필드 전 종목 고른 입상
조치원대동초등학교(교장 김경안)가 지난 25일부터 26일까지 세종시민운동장에서 열린 '2025 교육감배 세종학생체육대회 육상경기'에 참가해 종합 1위를 차지했다. 이번 대회에서 조치원대동초는 60m, 100m, 200m, 800m 달리기 종목과 400m 계주(릴레이)를 비롯해, 높이뛰기, 멀리뛰기, 포환던지기, 공던지기 등 트랙과 필드 전 종목에서 고르게 입상하며 육상 명문 학교의 위상을 입증했다.
◆ 양지은·민혜리, 대회신기록 수립
5학년 양지은 학생은 100m 종목에서 13.32초의 대회신기록을 세우는 활약으로 대회 최우수선수의 영예를 안았다. 6학년 민혜리 학생은 멀리뛰기 종목에서 4.23m의 기록으로 대회신기록을 경신하며 1위에 올랐다. 참가선수 모두가 그동안 갈고닦은 실력을 발휘했다. 학생들을 지도한 최아람 운동부지도자는 "학생들이 성실하게 훈련에 임해준 것이 좋은 결과로 이어져 매우 기쁘다"며 "자신의 한계에 도전하고 값진 성과를 이뤄낸 우리 선수들이 정말 자랑스럽고 앞으로도 학생들이 즐겁게 운동하며 성장할 수 있도록 지도하겠다"고 밝혔다.
◆ 김경안 교장 "지속적 지원 약속"
김경안 교장은 "학생들의 땀과 노력, 운동부지도자 선생님의 헌신적인 지도, 학부모님들의 응원이 한데 모여 종합 1위라는 성과를 거두었다"고 말했다. 그는 "앞으로도 우리 학생들이 소통과 공감, 행복이 살아 있는 학교에서 자신의 꿈과 잠재력을 마음껏 펼칠 수 있도록 모든 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 밝혔다.

Jochiwon Daedong Elementary School (Principal Kim Kyung-an) participated in the '2025 Superintendent's Cup Sejong Student Athletics Competition' held at Sejong Citizens' Stadium from the 25th to 26th and won overall 1st place. In this competition, Jochiwon Daedong Elementary finished on the podium evenly across all track and field events including 60m, 100m, 200m, 800m running events and 400m relay, as well as high jump, long jump, shot put, and ball throw, proving its status as a prestigious athletics school.
◆Yang Ji-eun and Min Hye-ri Set Meet Records
Fifth-grader Yang Ji-eun received the honor of being selected as the competition's best athlete with an outstanding performance setting a meet record of 13.32 seconds in the 100m event. Sixth-grader Min Hye-ri also broke the meet record with a distance of 4.23m in the long jump event to take first place. All participating athletes demonstrated their thoroughly honed skills. Coach Choi A-ram, who guided the students, stated, "I am very happy that the students' sincere training efforts led to good results," adding, "I am truly proud of our athletes who challenged their limits and achieved valuable results, and I will continue to guide students so they can grow while enjoying sports."

Principal Kim Kyung-an said, "The students' sweat and effort, the coach's dedicated guidance, and parents' support came together to achieve the outstanding result of overall 1st place." She stated, "We will spare no support so that our students can fully develop their dreams and potential in a school where communication, empathy, and happiness are alive."
