◆ 장애인 체육선수 고용 확대 협약
제약기업 삼진제약은 28일 충북체육회관에서 충청북도장애인체육회와 '장애인 체육선수 고용 활성화'를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 29일 밝혔다. 이번 협약은 충청북도 내 장애인 체육선수의 안정적인 일자리 확대, 기업의 사회적 책임(ESG) 실천, 지역사회 통합과 포용 문화 확산을 목표로 추진됐다.
◆ 역도·배드민턴·컬링 선수 3명 채용
삼진제약은 협약에 따라 충청북도 소속 장애인 체육선수 채용을 단계적으로 추진한다. 우선 역도, 배드민턴, 컬링 종목 선수 3명을 채용할 예정이다. 추천된 선수들은 전국 단위 대회 입상 경력과 국가대표 상비군 등 전문 경기력을 보유하고 있다. 선수 개개인의 종목 특성과 훈련 스케줄을 고려한 근무 여건을 설계하고, 대회 참가와 경기력 향상을 계속 이어갈 수 있도록 지원할 계획이다.
◆ 안정적 소득과 고용 기반 제공
삼진제약은 채용 선수들에게 안정적인 소득과 고용 기반을 제공해 장기간 전문 선수로 활동할 수 있도록 돕는다. 삼진제약 관계자는 "경기력 평가 외에도 장애인 선수들이 직업인으로서 존중받을 수 있는 환경을 만들기 위해 협약을 추진했다"며 "오송공장이 위치한 충청북도와의 협력을 통해 장애인 체육의 저변 확대 등 지역사회와 함께 성장하는 사례를 만들어 갈 것"이라고 밝혔다.
